I have had hearing aids for years and there were some instances they didn't work well. When I saw FHAC add I was skeptical as to whether Chris could help or not. I explained to him when we met that I was hoping to hear better than with my existing aids that I got from the VA. He said he believed so and convinced me to try his aids for 30 days at no cost. I am always skeptical of offers like this because there is usually a hidden charge (ie restocking, etc.) involved. He assured me that if I didn't see an improvement he would refund me my entire cost. Of course he talked me into buying the $6,000.00 pair. I tried them for the trial period and we made many adjustments with them but they just didn't help enough for the expense. Each visit was a pleasant experience with both the receptionist and Chris. Always, positive, helpful, and professional. To my surprise and relief I was refunded my money - no pressure at all to keep them and no charges. This is a rare experience for me and I would recommend this company to anyone who has hearing problems. Chris knows his profession and is very good at what he does and his guarantee is exactly as he advertises. I only wish other businesses were as true to their word as his. Thanks and I hope to steer some business his way. [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedWe will not discredit Mr*** or Finally hear in any way, but still feel we were overcharged

A person may get small almost invisible aids, medium sized aids or even
bigger aids that can have a top or lower circuit. Just because she was shown
smaller doesn't mean better. We have big hearing aids with top circuits in them
or small hearing aids with top circuits in them. To make it clear you can't
look at a smaller invisible type hearing aid and assume it's better it's about
the circuit inside.
They canceled the first appointment due to a doctors appointment. When we
rescheduled it was done during an open house which we called to
reschedule
They were not overcharged and did choose that model size and circuit and
will be glad to show her the differences in circuits again and why some are less
expensive than others
I am assuming the hearing aids are ok and not in need of any adjustment or
repair
I know that Mrs*** knows my brother from when she worked at a doctors
office so will be willing to offer the 1/2 refund they requested in a attempt to
make everyone satisfied as long as they agree not to discredit myself or Finally
Hear in any way. I cannot receive a factory refund since it has been so long.
I know people of the *** family and like them a lot so I do want to keep
peace with everybody
Wish she would have canceled at the beginning and they got a full refund so
I could return the aids to the factory and everyone could be happy.

1. Respondent has not addressed our complaint. WE HAVE NOT WANTED TO REPAIR
THE HEARING AIDS. Our complaint is
about the price issue of 5,800.00.
2. Mr. [redacted] was seen by a physician to clear any medical
problems he might have regarding his [redacted]s. He had none and
did nor require any special circuitry for memory
loss.
3. Two of our appointments with Finally Hear were cancelled,
not by us, because of office open houses.
4. We have done some comparisons and feel we were definitely
overcharged for mediocre hearing aids. We were shown very
small, almost invisible aids for the same
price....5,800.00.

[redacted] and [redacted] came into our office on 8/22/12 to purchase hearing
aids after being tested by Dr. [redacted]'s office. After the aids came in we called
them for delivery on 9/5/12 and left a message. They came in and the aids were
delivered on 9/19/12. They were scheduled to...
come back in for follow up on
9/25/12. [redacted] had called the office and canceled due to a doctor's
appointment and scheduled the follow up for 10/2/12. We cleaned and checked
aids and no adjustments were needed and everything was fine. They were
scheduled a appointment in January which was canceled and then they never
rescheduled even after we left them a message to do so. We have not seen or
heard from them since 10/2/12 until we received a letter from the Revdex.com on
3/11/14 which I am immediately responding. Our follow up appointments including
cleaning and adjustments by the way are always FREE. The hearing aid industry
like many others has many different price tiers in what look like the same shell
of a hearing aid which I explain very carefully when someone purchases aids and
offer a FULL 30 day 100% refund on all my hearing aids so we don't have any
issues like this concern. Mr. [redacted] does have a top circuit and in fact is
the same circuit I have on my own mother. Unbelievably they asked an
audiologist in the fall of 2013 about our hearing aids instead of us and I can't
believe they were told that hearing aids a year old were "not worth fixing" when
the fixing (if needed) is FREE as they were under warranty and still
are under warranty. These clearly are not an inferior circuit and are
what's best for someone who is suffering memory loss. I will be glad to go
over, adjust, fix or answer any concerns by Mr [redacted] at no additional charge
to them if they call my office. I am a local guy born and raised here and have
been fitting hearing aids over 24 years with a zero complaint history and a A+
Revdex.com rating. I wish they would have contacted me first and expressed there
concerns.
