Traditional Moving Company were over hours late to my appointment, unprepared with no supplies, no blankets, no shrink wrap and no wardrobe boxesThey send me to drive down to Lowes to buy my own shrink wrap for their moveThe move took over hours to move a small one bedroom home of dressers, a piece couch, large mirror, queen bed, 32” flat screen, boxes and miscellaneous ½ mile distanceAll dishes marked fragile were broken, one end table corner chipped
Assembly of bed frame – all four screws were hand tightened – bed wobbled
Assembly of a table – none – table top placed on top of legs
Flat screen tv mount bolts lost
NOTE: To speed things up, I moved my own clothes, shoes, sheets, towels, a few boxes, plants, computers, printers, scanners, and some miscellaneous items
The company will not provide a receipt for the move and fees
The company will not return my calls
I do not recommend anyone use this companies services!

Review: On 8/21/15, Traditional Movers helped with a household move within the city of Aliso Viejo from 1 Sprucewood to 10 Bel Flora Ct (1.5 miles). The invoice of $1,500, including a $250 deductible for Actual Cash Value insurance coverage, was paid in full on 8/21/15. Following process identified by Traditional Movers, an email was sent on 9/23/15 identifying 5 pieces of furniture damage and 1 piece of property damage all caused by 8/21 move.

Following up a few times in October, on 10/13 I received communication that the "claim can take up to 90 days." On 11/12, we found some additional furniture damage and submitted another photo and brief description of damage, which is within the 9 month window for reporting damage. No response was received. I followed up again on 12/8 and 12/14, asking for next steps since the 90 day window would close on 12/23 per the 9/23 claim submission.

On 12/14, the owner of Traditional Movers finally responded telling me that with the new claim on 11/12, we would be "placed at the back of the line." Since this was the first time I heard a response since this damage was identified and these terms do not appear anywhere in our contract, I asked for documentation of that supports this.

12/23 has passed and to date, no documentation has been provided to support the claim window extension, and no visible progress has been made to service the claim. With thousands of dollars of furniture damage in front of us and 4+ months already passed, we are eager to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: In honor of the contractual agreement, our Actual Cash Value coverage should be honored in full, including an assessment of the damage and total dollar amount of value declared. We should be compensated accordingly and in a timely manner since the 90 day claim window has already passed.
