I took my car to Trans auto for a diagnostic test and to repair an alternater on a Tuesday 4/21. After a while I went to check on my car and they told me 30 mins. I went back 30 mins later they told me the mechanic will be done in another hour. When I finally picked up my car it was not the same, it was like the car would not catch the speed or something ( don't know how to explain it but I just know it was not right). I couldn't take it back in the same day because I had school. On Friday when I finally had time to take it back my car would not start. I gave it a jump and it still didn't work so I pushed my car to Trans for them to tell me I have to pay $80 again for another diagnostic test. So I ask about when they did my first test on Tuesday what came up. They told me everything is working fine but my alternater. Which means to me when u fixed my alternater you did something wrong whether it was accidental or on purpose. They wanted to argue about the problem and about it being an old car and about how many miles is on the car. I have a 2006 Mitsubishi with less than 130 thousand miles that I take very good care of. I finally got upset because they where trying to get more money from me to fix a problem they caused. I pushed my car home. I finally try to find another auto shop and I'm asking my neighbors if they know of a good autoshop they asked about what happened and I explained. At least 3 people said I could of told you not to go there they did the same thing to me. My neighbors said trans auto fixed a problem and messed up my car at the same time. I explained the problem to my mom and she also said they did the same thing to her car ( I wish I would have known). I have come up with the conclusion that the mechanics at trans auto don't have a clue what they are doing or they are purposely break things so we can come back to spend more money. I will never go back or recommend them at all. They were very unprofessional and rude.

I am writing in responds to ID #[redacted]. The customer stated in complaint did come in on 2-20-2014 to have his passengerside running light bulb replaced on said vehicle. The charges of $63.36 were correct due to the requirement of removing tire to replace bulb.

contact us about water inside projector. I advised to him that there was no need to remove the projector to replace the bulbI but that he should bring vehicle in and we would recheck our work for him. Customer did return and we checked vehicle. 
 
We did find water inside projector assembly. It was explained to customer that bulb socket is underneath behind projector where water (like rain) would not be hitting that area. 
 
We also shared with him that the corrosion noticed inside the projector shows water damage, due to longer term then one week. We recomended replacing the headlight projector assembly and did advise on pricing, in which he declined any further repairs.
 
We regret the disappointment in any of our customers. However, due to the position of the bulb we replaced & the corrosion noticed inside the projector indicates that water intrusion was there prior to our installing customers bulb.
