Review: I hired Tri State in December 2014 to sell my mothers estate items- she died in Oct 2014, lived in Connecticut. I paid them $2300 to broom clean my mothers estate so they took everything away; my return would be on what they sold of all her things.[redacted] and [redacted] of Tri State said they had 2 places to auction, a high end in NJ & a low end in NY. I was told in June that they had 1 check for the low end items for $1600, but top this day, I have not received it. I was also told that because of the terrible winter, they would sell the high end items over summer/ fall 2015. They keep telling me that they are working on it, - has been stringing me along for a whole year and again, I have not seen any checks.

It is now mid-September and, to sum up our current status:

I paid your company $2,300 almost a year ago.

Your company moved out the estate items almost a year ago.

I provided minimum sale amounts on a few items almost a year ago.

To date, your company has provided no updates on the sales/auctions overall, except [redacted] said, when I contacted him in April, he had a check from low end items for $1600, which I never received.

To date, you've provided no information about the items with the minimum sale amounts (so I can make arrangements to pick up any of those items not meeting the minimum amounts).

To date, I have received absolutely no checks/payments.

That is what this has been like- they keep promising and b=never deliver. AllI want is the 2 checks and the high end minimum bid items back that did not sell.

Thank you.Desired Settlement: To receive the 2 checks, one from high end( do not know amount) and the check already owed for $1600 from low end auction. Get the few things back from high end auction back that did not sell- items are in NJ but they have not given me address to pick said items up at.

I have requested address to pick up these thing at least 4 times and they ignore my request.
