I had a camper shell and a trailer hitch installed here in without a problemIn my dashboard lights went out on my truck so I took it into my mechanic He said there was a problem with my trailer light Jack and it had to be disconnected(Want to point out that this was not Truckin Thunder's fault, I bought the hitch gear from *** and had TT install it)When it came time to actually fix my trailer light Jack, I called truckin Thunder and they said they could do the job same daySo, I dropped off my truck at 8am for the repairs After calling them a few times , I hear my truck is ready around 4pm When I get to the shop they tell me that the light Jack is bad, and I'll have to buy a new one and get it installed They never called me to discuss repairs and really didn't do any work but I was not charged This left a bad taste in my mouth because I obviously wanted it to be repaired I knew I had the problem, so they were no helpThe real problem started that night when I was driving down the road and looked down to a dark dashboard Also, my Tail lights were out, so little did I know how dangerous my truck was now after TT worked on itSo, I would not recommend this business to anyone, and I'm very glad I realized the problems that Truckin Thunder reintroduced to my vehicle before I or someone else got hurt
I had a camper shell and a trailer hitch installed here in 2015 without a problem.
In 2016 my dashboard lights went out on my truck so I took it into my mechanic. He said there was a problem with my trailer light Jack and it had to be disconnected. (Want to point out that this was not Truckin Thunder's fault, I bought the hitch gear from [redacted] and had TT install it).
When it came time to actually fix my trailer light Jack, I called truckin Thunder and they said they could do the job same day. So, I dropped off my truck at 8am for the repairs. After calling them a few times , I hear my truck is ready around 4pm. When I get to the shop they tell me that the light Jack is bad, and I'll have to buy a new one and get it installed. They never called me to discuss repairs and really didn't do any work but I was not charged. This left a bad taste in my mouth because I obviously wanted it to be repaired. I knew I had the problem, so they were no help.
The real problem started that night when I was driving down the road and looked down to a dark dashboard. Also, my Tail lights were out, so little did I know how dangerous my truck was now after TT worked on it.
So, I would not recommend this business to anyone, and I'm very glad I realized the problems that Truckin Thunder reintroduced to my vehicle before I or someone else got hurt.
