In accordance with resident leases you are required to give a day notice to vacate in addition to fulfilling the lease termAny time either of those do not happen, there are penalties assessed which are indicated in the lease agreement
The "credit" for the additional days paid was applied on the final account statement but in order to fulfill the day required notice an amount was charged as an insufficient notice penaltyThe resident would have received a significant amount of her deposit back had she fulfilled her lease term through August
In regards to renters insurance, this is also required in accordance with the leaseIf there is any lapse in insurance lease violations and or fines are assessed
Any damage charges were charged in accordance with the lease agreement as well

I notified the office after work was done for a week on my collapsed ceilingThey moved all of the apliances into the dining and living room to get to the ceilingI told them all of the damage the workers had doneGouges in the kitchen floor, cuts in the counter top and a cracked door leading to the bedroom where they had put the refridgeratorThey are charging me $for the damage to the door and saying since I have no proof I have to pay itThey sent a maintenance man in to look at the damage and all they did was glue a chunk of the floor downI do not feel I have to pay for damage they caused
As far as the renter's insurance mine has never lapsed and they had proof the whole time but twice sent me threatening letters saying I didn't have it when they had it the whole timeEach time they found itI resent threatening letters when I have been on time with every requirement they have had
I do not want to pay $for their damage

All damage charges are in accordance with the lease agreementThere is no documentation that was submitted to verify anyone other than the resident damaged the doorIn regards to renters insurance, residents are required to provide accurate proof of coverage in accordance with their leaseIf that is not to us on or prior to a current policy expiring, we are allowed per the lease to send lease violations and or fines
We are willing to offer a discount of 20% off the balance owed if paid in full
