Review: Account #[redacted]

loan for the purchase of a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I called and spoke with a representative named [redacted] on 6/2/2014 and explained that I would like to pay off the remaining balance on my loan, after pulling up my account he said the payoff amount after processing fees would be $368.81 I explained that I noticed the the payoff amount online showed me a price about $15.00 higher than that he informed me this amount was if I waited another 7 days to make the payoff so I went ahead and authorized the payment of $368.81 and went ahead to ask him three more times if this would satisfy the remainder of the account and he went ahead and assured me that it would we even spoke about the details of me receiving the title for the vehicle he said if I did not receive it within three weeks and if not I should give a call in to check the status thanked [redacted] for his help the very next day I received a phone call from United Auto Credit I was unable answer the phone and when I checked the voice mail the representative left a message explaining that I needed to call in today and it was very important so when I called in I explained that I had paid off my loan the previous day and did not understand the call she apologized for the call and said her system had yet to be updated with the information but seen the payment after reviewing my account now on 7/1/2014 still no title however another bill stating amount due of $262.44 however on the top of the invoice it tells me the payoff amount is now $14.60 I did not understand this as I thought my loan was paid in full so I decided to call and speak with a supervisor which I did and was able to speak with a Ms. [redacted] who I explained the situation and asked how is it possible to have a payment due of $262.44 when I paid the account in full on 6/2/2014 she told me there was an error made an apology and said she would remove this from my account and assured me that once their system updated in 24 hours I would no longer receive any more phone calls and my loan was paid in full however here I sit on 7/5/2014 and I have already received two calls form this company by 12:30pm this is not right it seems like they are now throwing false charges just to collect more money I would like to thank the company for offering me a loan when I do have poor credit however I did pay my loan off and honored my debt if there were any more fees that needed to be paid these fees should have been brought to my attention on 6/2/2014 when I spoke with [redacted] and I would have gladly paid itDesired Settlement: I would like the title to my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it should be sent next day to expedite the delivery as I should have had it by now as I was told by everyone I spoke to my account is paid in full, I would also like a letter of apology from Ms. [redacted] for the lies she spoke to me on 7/1/2014 @ 7:30pm

Review: I purchased a automobile on 1/21/2014, and said company secured a loan from okolona motors in Louisville ky. On 1/25/2014 the fly wheel went bad and since then the new fly wheel has went bad the the vehicle has had to be towed twice due to something causing the battery to go bad,the car will not stop running once the key is in the off position for about 30 secounds, and the radio has also stopped working.the car has been in the shop for about 30 days from the time of the purchaseDesired Settlement: I would like to have my $1500 down payment returned under the lemon law

Review: On December 14, 2013 I had requested my 10 day pay-off ammount via thier website (unitedautocredit.net). At that time the payoff ammount was $4463.55. This seemed odd to me since they were only showing a total balance due of around $3900. I assumed there was some sort of fee associated with my early payoff and gave the dealer the $4463.55 as the payoff. On December 23, 2013, United Auto Credit showed that they recieved payment in the amount of $4463.55; with a remaining balance of just under $90. When I contacted thier customer service, I was told (3 different times) that I needed to speak with thier "pay-off team" and everytime I was "transfered" I ended back with the person who couldnt help me. VERY FRUSTRATING. I found it very suspicious that NO ONE at United Auto Credit customer service was able to answer my questions or resolve my issue/dispute and VERY FRUSTRATING that I was bounced around an IVR for more than an hour with NO assistance.Desired Settlement: Since it was confirmed by one of the customer service representatives ([redacted]) that United Auto Credit does NOT charge a fee for early payoff, I would like United Auto Credit to refund the difference in the amount they had listed as the remaining balance versus the 10 day payoff amount provided to me on 12/14/13. This comes to difference of roughly $700.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

United Auto Credit's response was invalid and disrespectful. The letter consisted of an explanation of how interest and "Per Diem" works. I am not unintelligent. My complaint was that I was given a payoff amount ONLINE that was supposedly good for 10 days. My expectation is that 9 days later, that amount would have been adequate. If the amount was in fact NOT valid for the 10 days that the website mentions, then that indication needs to be removed from their online tool as it is inaccurate.

Regards,

Review: I purchased a MAZADA and the entire time I had the vehicle I never was able to receive plates for the car because of so many issues the car had to be taken to the shop which end up being the engine out of the car so their I was out of a down payment and they turned around and sold the car for a 1,000 which now they are trying to stick me with oweing 7,000 for a piece of junkthat I was never able to even get paltes for and I do feel that they are ripping people off and this is now on my credit report for 7,000 they knew that the engine was going in the car I do feel that something should be done about this matter I do not feel that I should owe them 7, 000 for a 1,000 car that they knew the engine was going bad in.Desired Settlement: I would like to see fairness in this because it is unfair that I was not able to even get plates for this vehicle ffrom day one of not even passing Echecks repeatly and they sell the car for a 1,000 and put 7,000 on my credit report this is unfair I just feel that I should not owe them that kind of money for a lemon with in 3 months

Regards,

This company is bad business they call you on the day your payment is due aling with being very ride and threats. All there employees are unprofessional. They will threaten you with saying there going too repo your vehicle. They need too not be in business. There is laws that they must follow before any repo can be made. Even if your one or two payments behind they can't force a illegal repo.

Review: This company has yet to set up our payments for automatic deductions that was asked when we bought vehicle. This company refused to take a partial payment. These people have put this truck out for repo in the middle of the day and I had payment arrangements. This company stated we don't take payments from cards in Indiana. This company calls work places non stop, calls from numbers all over the United states and are very rude people. I believe we have paid to much money to them and our balance is still 11,000? Not good. They need to get it together they are terrible.Desired Settlement: I want repo fees taken off my account because the repo company lied to our faces as he was on the phone in which he did not have this truck on his truck. He was on my husbands cellphone. I want no harassing phone calls. I

Review: After months prior to requesting pay off loan for a vehicle, and after paying the final reduced payment from $450 to $300 and requested the release of the title their excuse was "we can't process that now, our system is down". I accepted the situation and was understanding, I was told to call later in the week to file for the title release. Later on the week I called back and spoke to the same person who had my account information and was supposed to release the title to me, after speaking to "[redacted]" I was told the exact same line with a condescending manner while blatantly lying to me over the phone. I've researched the company afterwards and found numerous complaints regarding the exact situation. The customer service was pleasant before the final payment but know after the loan has been paid off, they have become difficult and rude to me. I've homered my part of the bargain and all I ask is that they do the same.Desired Settlement: Title to be mailed to me with my name on the documents.

Response:

The company has made good faith efforts to address the complaint and provide the desired resolution; however, the consumer has been unresponsive to those attempts.

Review: I paid off my car loan to United Auto credit with my last payment and it was not credited to my account. They have since put me in collections. I have sent them numerous emails and faxes documenting my payment clearing the bank account. They acknowledge receiving at least one of these faxes at 12:05 PM on January 14th. The payment cleared on Jan 7th. They refuse to resolve this matter and keep on harassing me. I contact them on a daily basis with no satisfaction. Account number [redacted]. They have me as a delinquent account.Desired Settlement: I want my account settled and marked as closed. I want my account to be corrected to reflect it was not delinquent. I want the harassing phone calls to stop.

Review: In May 2014, I purchased my 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe from a dealer in Virginia. Shortly after I purchased it, the vehicle began to have transmission issues. I was out of my warranty period so I had to cover the cost of a new transmission as well as trying to stay ontop of my payments. I did call UAC and let them know of the issue and that I would try to get caught up on my payments. Daily I received calls from them as if I hadn't spoke to a representative to make them aware of my situation. One evening a representative called my residence spoke really unprofessionally to my wife, make threats and using foul language. I immediately took the phone to try and diffuse the situation and let the representative know that he would not speak to my wife or I like that. He proceeded to do so, so I hung up on him. Shortly after he emailed me some nonsense. I called the next day spoke with a manager and advised them to pick up the truck. This was not a company that I wanted to any longer do business with. While waiting I took a job in Georgia. They still had not picked up the vehicle from Virginia. The vehicle had to go back in the shop because the transmission wasn't fixed. Once fixed I had the vehicle placed on a transporter and brought to Georgia. Finally the vehicle was picked up on October 10th. Do you know I am still getting calls about payments and asking if I wanted the vehicle returned??Desired Settlement: I would like your records updated that you all have possession of the vehicle and end the phone calls. Your record keeping skills are horrible. You have my address in Georgia, yet your sending mail to my old residence in Virginia. I would never ever do business with such a company and I will never recommend any consumer to take an auto loan from you all. You all need to revise how you treat your customers and make sure that when you dealing with clients you assign a manager to the client. Having to explain a situation to 50 agents is ridiculous.

Regards,

Review: I have repeatedly called this business only to have the representatives not hear me and hang up. I'm also attempting to establish my credit score and they never report to the credit reporting agencies. Every month I have to call and ask them to report my payments. A rep literally told me its my responsibility to call and tell them to report it. I'm sorry but the service this company provides is less than terrible. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the way this company handles their business and treats their consumers. If I have to continue calling each month only to get hung up on, then I may seek alternate lenders. Please correct this issue as it's pathetic that a lending agency can't follow through and hold up their end of the contract. I pay my bill every month, it's YOUR responsibility to report my payments.Desired Settlement: Report ALL of the payments I have made. So far you have my payments made up to November reported. I EXPECT you to report all my payments including December and January and also look into a solution for your phone lines. It's pathetic a consumer can't contact their lender. If this issue isn't resolved I'll continue to file complaints with the Revdex.com and I'll also reach out to NY and CA attorney generals.

Review: Talk about an absolute nightmare. I have never worked with a more terrible company than United Auto Credit. First payment was due on May 7th. I mailed a check the week before and 2 weeks later it was never recieved. This "[redacted]" Lady I had to deal with on the phone has been awful. Completely rude and not caring at all. Finally yesterday I went and put stop payment on the check, which cost $35.00 and then had to pay an extra $13.75 to pay the bill online. Which is complete BS. Now I am seeing on here I am not the only one that has gone through this issue with these people. On top of it, after talking to "[redacted]" all week she just tells me yesterday I've acuired like $50 in interest charges for the payment being late despite the fact that she told me she put the account on hold the day it was due when I told her the check was in the mail. I am not someone you want to screw over United Auto Credit.Desired Settlement: I want not only my $35 stop payment fee on the check back, I also want the stupid finance charge of $13.75 back. And I want all the acquired interest removed from the account. After that I want to make every payment in full on time for the next 2 and 1/2 years (which I will) with no further issues like this. IF this happens again I will make sure this company is done for good and believe me I have the ability to make that happen. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!!

Review: SPOKE TO REPRESENTATIVE MAY 5TH INQUIRING ABOUT PAYOFF AMOUNT FOR MY LOAN. INSTRUCTED ME TO SEND PAYMENT VIA WESTERN UNION QUICK COLLECT OR PO BOX MAILING ADDRESS.I HAVE SUBMITTED PAYMENT OF THE FULL PAY OFF AMOUNT OF MY VEHICLE AND TRACKING ON THE PAYMENT SHOWS IT WAS DELIVERED ON MAY 15. (TRACKING# [redacted] VIA USPS) NO ONE CAN SEEM TO FIND MY PAYMENT, TELL ME WHO PICK UP THE PAYMENT AT [redacted]. THE CHECK WAS IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,314.00. AS MY PAY OFF IS TIME SENSITIVE, I NEED TO KNOW WHERE THIS PAYMENT IS IN A TIMELY MANNER SO MY ACCOUNT CAN BE PAID IN FULL WITHOUT COSTING ME EXTRA MONEY AS I DO HAVE A PER DIEM. I HAVE SPOKE TO THE POST MASTER AT THE FACILITY WHERE THE PAYMENT WAS SENT TO AND HE CONFIRMED THAT THE PO BOX HAS A DAILY CARRIER WHO COLLECTS MAIL. USPS OFFICE [redacted]. UNITED AUTO CREDIT CLAIMS THEY HAVE NO ONE TO SIGN FOR THE CERTIFIED LETTER AND WILL NOT IDENTIFY WHO CARRIER IS OR CHECK WITH ACCOUNTING TO SEE WHERE IS THE CHECK.Desired Settlement: LOCATE WHERE MY PAYMENT IS, IF NOT I WILL HAVE TO RESEND PAYMENT THROUGH PERSONAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AND ALL FEES INCURRED AFTER 5/15/14 WILL NEED TO BE REIMBURSED.

Review: I have an account, in which the maturity date of the account with the company has been met and they are stating I still owe them, as well as have rates that were not explained to me and now holding me up from receiving my title for my car, they are threatening to repossess my car, and refuse to explain in full detail in writing, as well as they changed my original contract without my knowledge, and did not follow the contract, which indicated a 7 day grace period, instead they still charge a daily amount after the due date, then another higher rate at day 10 after the due date and interest on both of those fees, instead of the normal one time fee. They charged me irate fees and I requested three loan due date changes and now find out that since I did that, it gave me additional interest fees, and a ridiculous balance. I have requested to speak with management and to have my account executive changed three times and all times it has been denied, which is unfair, as I am stuck dealing with very rude people, whose names are [redacted], who called me sweetie, [redacted], and [redacted] who said she was sending me to [redacted]'s supervisor, instead sent me to [redacted], who said he was the supervisor and stated he in fact had no one over him, but does as I later found out my Mr. [redacted]. I want them to waive some of the unnessecary fees they have charged me, especially since they were never explained to me, never given to me in writing, and I believe is unfair business practices. I can not understand how an account that is started in March 2010 for 42 months, is still not paid off, after various confirmation, in December 2013. In addition, they have it that I was late over 30 days 12 times, but yet never reported it to the credit bureau reporting agencies and my documentation shows this as being completely false. I want this resolved ASAPDesired Settlement: I want a settlement amount lesser than the $2400 they are saying I still owe and still accruing interest on, especially since they have failed three times to send me documentation showing the complete breakdown and once again on 12/17 they agreed to send it, but still charging me interest while I wait to receive this information. Either they take the interest fees off or negotiate the closing balance, since it was never explained to me in the beginning, nor when the due dates were changed.

They have not made it clear of what I would be receiving and I'm sure they are hiding the details to try and escape fault. I only for now want them to contact me via Revdex.com as I am constantly being harassed and my attempts to settle the issue have been unsuccessful. I want all interest while I still await a final detailed bill to cease and I want a newly assigned account rep, none of those mentioned in my complaint, and one whose name was confirmed as mr. I also want the response ion ceased until I do have the opportunity to review the documents I should have received and requested several times, and to see if we can reach a fair and reasonable resolution. Review: Everytime I make a phone call to the company, I get tranferred 5-8 times and have to repeat my personal information everytime. I have no idea who the people are and I have already had my identity stolen twice before due to me having to keep giving my personal information out like that. Also, there is an employee named teresa who called one my references and discussed my car payment status with this person on the phone, which is violation of my privacy. A person that is used as a reference should just be used as that, not being called by a company to discuss someone's personal information. I have filed a formal complaint with the company themselves and requested verbally on the phone with numerous supervisors that I wanted [redacted] to have no access to my account going forward. When I called today I was transferred to her and immediately asked to be transferred to someone else. I was sent to a person named [redacted] and gave her the information that I need to give them and she proceeded to ask me my personal information over the phone again after she called me by my name and then when I asked her why she needed the info again she said that this was the first time she had spoken with me and needed the info after she already knew who I was due to she called me by my name. I am very unhappy with this company. They violated my hipaa information by giving the information to my reference on the phone and continue to violate it by tranfering me to multiple people when I call. They are violating the law and need to be accountable for their actions.Desired Settlement: I do not feel that I should be tranferred multiple times giving out my personal information to multiple people. The company need to change this situation immediately.I would like to have a phone call returned from the vice persident of the company to discuss my their actions regarding their staff giving out my perosnal info on the phone to someone they do not know and me being tranferred 5-8 times everytime I call them to discuss my account and having to give my personal info out everytime.

Review: I was having some credit issues and there was no other to go about it so I decided to get a car and make all my payments to rebuild my credit. United Auto Credit gave me that second chance but it has been the worst experience I have ever come across my whole life. The representatives are rude and so are the managers. Even when they know you are on your last dollar they will kill you to get that money. I called few times I was hanged up on by 7 different representatives all because I was late few times on my account. I use to work at the hospital and I was my job when a psych patient punched me in the back of my neck. During my treatment I receive a letter that I was fired. For one year I didnt work. I went from making two thousand dollars a month to nothing for a whole year. I received another job where I only make 800 dollars a month. I called this company to try and reduce my payment in order for me to afford my payment due to employment change they said no. They threatened my with repossession and one day I woke up and my car was gone. I was got help from my girlfriend who help me get the car back. I lost so much thing in the car and up until now I haven't received any of it. I am still struggling and all this rude managers one by the name of [redacted] who hanged on me twice after calling to resolve and issue with my account. she ask for my name and when I provided it she hanged up each time I called. My account was promise and extension over the phone after I am able to make one payment. when the payment was received the company tells me they have no idea what I am talking about and continue to place me on an hour hold over the phone. they yell and scream at you when you are not doing things they want you to do which is very unprofessional. I regret every making this purchase and it has spoiled my credit even more than it was before I got the loan. They treat customers so rudely over the phone and wouldn't mind hanging up on you.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop harassing me on the phone with threats of repossession and also treat me with respect. They made a promise over the phone for an extension even though they knew I don't qualify. I made the payment they required for an extension and the manager by the name of [redacted] told he placed on my account but was ll all lies. something needs to me done about how this company treat customers over the phone from management and fellow staff members.

Review: I called in to make a payment , a associate charged me 100 more than my car note. The associate voided the payment , but it still charged my bank account. The very next day United Auto Credit, debited by bank account again , without my concent and left me with overdraft fees. The company then charged me a $30 late fee and other misc charges. I am very upset with low quality of the customer service. I want to swith companies and I refuse to pay something that is not my fault. Review: United Auto credit financed my car loan. During the time of the loan I had 2 extensions. I was under the impression that the extensions would go to the end of the car loan and I make the normal payments. After 42 payments of $399 my car was repossessed because the maturity date of my loan was March 31. The company said I had to pay all of the "extended" payments before the maturity date still. I did not know this and they said it was in the fine print of the paperwork I signed. Tuesday, April 7th I was told by [redacted] I could pay a settlement of $1243 and get my car back. The next day I called and emailed saying I had the money. I received this in an email, "Hello,

I know I said 1243.00 but didn’t know you had to paid all the repo fees. So the total amount will be $2000.00 sorry for the inconvenience.

$2900 BLACK BOOK... I WILL SETTLE, BUT NOT FOR $1200...OK $2000

Per supervisor.

I understand that I did not read their fine print but I have already paid $16,758 on the original loan amount of $11,103.88. On the contract that United Auto Credit and I both signed it states the total of all payments will be $16,767.24. This company refuses to work with me in any way. I am a single mother that has paid for this vehicle for 4 years. My daughter is now walking to and from school and I am walking or taking the bus to and from work.Desired Settlement: I would like my car and all of my belongings in my car to be returned to me.

I asked for this to be put in writing given the fact that I was told before this amount and then was told it was going to be more. [redacted] refused to put this in writing for me. I later received an email with the offer in writing stating it was only valid for that day - this email was received at 205pm. In other words I had 3 hours to make this happen. I had already borrowed the money before and returned it. Now I had 3 hours to find it again - while at work and with no vehicle. All of this after I have already paid $9.22 less than the amount on the original contract.Regards,[redacted]

Review: I bought 2001 Lexus from a local dealer in January. I was advised that I would be financed by United Auto Credit. The time came for my 1st payment.I logged on to there website to figured out the best way to achieve this. When I logged on it was Friday 2/14/14. I registered with United Auto Credit's payment processor Western Union Speed-pay to on my loan. I registered for ACH withdrawal from my checking account because this was the only way to pay on my loan for free. I completed this process and was advised the payment would not post till Tuesday 2/18/14 because of the time. I looked at my options and because of the length of time it would take to process I decided to change the payment method. On Sunday night 02/16/14 I had signed on to Western Union Speedpay to cancel the automatic withdraw that I was advised would begin Monday morning 02/17/14 because the ACH had shut down on Friday before I completed the process. I however paid on Sunday 02/16/14 with my chase credit card the car payment plus the 13.95 United Auto Credit charges to do so. I got an email stating the credit card payment was received. On Monday 02/17/14 United Auto Credit processed the ACH withdrawal anyway even though it has been canceled the night prior. I contacted them about the matter and was advised that it was not their fault and in the instance of a double payment that it would be applied to the next months payment. I informed the representative this was not acceptable and he told me he would have a manager contact me but they where not in the habit of issuing refunds. I never received a call back from the management so I contacted my bank and disputed the charge and informed them of the situation. Chase resolved the issue and refunded me the money . I thought everything had been work out and we were just going to move forward. Only to find out United Auto Credit charged me 13.95 for a returned check. I contacted them on 04/29/14 and they told me basically tough luck that I would have to pay it.Desired Settlement: I want the 13.95 returned check fee removed from my account and any other corresponding fee from that fee as they have been adding 20.00 late fees for it not being paid. I have paid them every payment owed I refuse to pay excessive fees from circumstances where they billed me twice and messed up and are trying to charge me for it. I would also like some type of compensation for their rude representatives that are the poster children for unfriendly customer service personnel.
