The homeowner wouldn't allowed us to come back and finish the work. She also refused to pay her $500 deductible and her $500 depreciation. She was explained and told about how the deductible and the depreciation works but still refused and said it was the insurance companies fault. She then told us...

that she would take care of the carpet because she had a friend that could do it cheaper. We removed the item's that hadn't been performed from the invoice and sent it to her for final payment which she agreed to and paid. The insurance company agreed to the scope of work that we sent in they just had removed the $500 deductible and her $500 for depreciation. She had received a check from her insurance company to pay for the work needed but she didn't want to pay the $500 deductible and her $500 depreciation that basically would have finished the job. Please see emails sent from client below Her Email: Hello. My insurance company called and told me that they are paying $2,181. That is not going to cover all the expenses.  I am not paying any money out.I am stressed out more now, because my house is not even done. The question I have is: Before you guys came out to do work on my home who authorized this work? I assumed it was my insurance company you were talking to. A $500 deductible was taken out and then she said another $500 depreciation which I have no idea what that even is. I am now worried that my home is going to be left the way it is, and that definitely is not right. If I would have known my insurance was not going to cover this I would not had any work done. Her Email: Hello. I will fax the paperwork to you today that shows what my insurance was paying for. There is work that was not done so you can work through that. Just a reminder that the Microbial Spray was not used, also that your guys did tear out some of my original linoleum in the kitchen and hallway that would still need to be replaced anyways. Not sure if you were able to match what was in here, so I would imagine the rest of the old stuff will have to be tore out too? On my insurance paperwork. There is : Cabinet Base replace-$163.59, Cabinet Base tear out-$5.96, Counter-top Remove/Reset-$148.91, Hallway ceiling 1 coat brush and paint-$23.57, Kitchen 1 coat brush and paint-$62.27. Drywall 1 trip-$197.48, Living Room- brush and paint-$73.31, Gas Range remove/reset-$32.46, these are all things that were not done. Also do you have samples of the Vinyl Flooring or pics that you can email me? Once you are finished with your adjustments will you please send me a copy of all charges that you are billing for so I have complete paperwork in my file please? Do you need to wait for the other insurance check to get the rest of the work started? Thank You for everything. Have a Great Weekend:) Homeowner has been credited and was never charged for Cabinet Base replace-$163.59, Cabinet Base tear out-$5.96, Counter-top Remove/Reset-$148.91, Hallway ceiling 1 coat brush and paint-$23.57, Kitchen 1 coat brush and paint-$62.27. Drywall 1 trip-$197.48, Living Room- brush and paint-$73.31.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The company had plenty of time when I addressed this issue while work was being done in the home. I allready submitted pictures to them showing them the quality of the work that was done as well as what was not done. Katie from UF&F called me yesterday regarding doing an inspection in my home. As I said earlier in this complaint I do not want them back in my home. I will contact other agencies regarding this matter. My complaint will stand as it is written. I am dissatisfied with the quality of work and overpricing, as well as they did not rectify the other issues due to me not allowing them to replace my carpet at the very high price they were charging for 38.66 total yards of carpet. I had to have the electrical outlet fixedthat was not adhered to the paneling fixed myself. Also when the flooring in the kitchen/living room was torn out the worker never brought any plywood to cover up the openings. I asked him how was I going to get outside and to my kitchen sink? He said I could care fully walk along the 2X4's. Are you seriuos? The insurance inspector was shocked that they left it open and said that is a very big danger to me and my son being left like that and to call the company to get a worker out here ASAP to put plywood down. When I called the worker he told me he would have to charge my insurance company a higher rate by coming out. Really? It is his fault for not bringing plywood in the first place, as he knew he was tearing out flooring. We had to be very careful where we walked as to not fall through the openings left by the company, until the worker came back to put plywood down. which was  a few days later.  If you want to close thios complaint that is fine. But I will not change the unsatisfactory complaint.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
