I sent an email to Roadrunner Auto Transport asking them assistance in giving me their Revdex.com rating - no replyGood thing I persisted in seeking the info because it is evident Roadrunner Auto Transport isn't even accredited w/ the Revdex.comI called the business as stated on the quote to call a [redacted] direct [redacted] didn't identify the business nor did he identify his nameI told him my first name, I said I am looking to speak to a [redacted] and his response was, "who am I speaking with?", not, that he is the person whom I am seeking That right there is a huge red flag for meMy son had arranged his car transported by another company (Lightning...)That company (Lightning...) didn't pithe car so my son cancelled their service; hence, I am seeking another transporter via RoadrunnerI gave [redacted] the Quote#Evidently he could see that Lightning was contacted previously [redacted] then proceeded to tell me that to provide Roadrunner's services the price will be increased because of our previous contact w/ another transporterI told [redacted] we fired the other partyHe wouldn't hear itInsisted on his ridiculous rationale for his price increase was because Lightning's driver wouldn't allow Roadrunner's driver to take the carThis shyster takes me for a fool!!! Just moments after I hung up on him he sends me an email stating, "...OUR TRUCKS HAVE EMPTY SPOTS THEY NEED TO FILL ASAP !!"

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: First and foremost, NO ONE from Roadrunner has attempted to call me regarding my claim I have emailed them several times, and all they do is respond by saying that they are DENYING my claim based on the fact that they claim the damage was done elsewhere By reviewing the attachment to this response I am sending, you will again see on PAGE of the attachment that my vehicle showed NO DAMAGE when taken from Dickinson, Texas on July **, On PAGE of attachment, you will see that my vehicle was inspected upon arrival into [redacted] on July **, The report shows CODE - ROOF DAMAGE - DENT IN ROOF It is VERY CLEAR from this report and the date it was done (715), that the vehicle obtained this damage while in route from Texas to Florida The representatives from Roadrunner (PR Car Transport) insist on not covering this damage, claiming that the damage was done on the second leg of the trip, which, of course, would be impossible for them to claim, based on the date of this inspection All I would like is for Roadrunner to acknowledge the damage by paying out the cost to fix this dent It is VERY frustrating that they claim in their response to Revdex.com that they have attempted to make this right, when in fact, all they have done is deny my claim FOUR times now via email Please note that EVEN IF the damage occurred on the second leg of the trip from Florida to Puerto Rico, this does NOT take liability away from Roadrunner, as they are who I contracted to transport my vehicle, but this should be a moot point since again, according to THEIR report, the damage occurred while being transported from Texas to Florida Roadrunner has treated this case extremely unprofessionally Thank you, [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

I MADE A RESERVATION WITH THEM TO PICK UP A CAR FOR ME IN [redacted] AND BRING TO [redacted] SEVERAL WEEKS PRIOR TO PICKUP DATEI ADVISED THEM THAT I WAS GOING TO MAKE A 6-HOUR TRIP TO [redacted] (JUST FOR THIS) TO MEET THEM ON THE DAY OF THE PICKUPNO ONE EVER SHOWED OR CALLED UPI ALSO SPOKE WITH 2-OF THEIR LADIES ' [redacted] ' + '***' ON THE DAY PRIOR TO PICKUPTHEY ASSURED ME THAT IT WOULD BE ON PRIORITYMY BOOKING NUMBER WAS [redacted] THAT WAS DONE ON THAT IS MORE THAN A MONTH IN ADVANCE THESE PEOPLE ARE TOTALLY UN-RELIABLE AND A LADY '***' CALLED THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY TO SEE IF I STILL NEEDED SERVICE ! This story is simply not trueWe have no way of seeing that you were moving your vehicle with another company, unless you contacted us at some point and gave us your informationEven if we could reach out to you out of the blue as you said we did, our
company logo is listed clearly everywhere on our emails and is quite obviously different than any other company, so this would have been seen while signing any paperworkThere is simply no way this situation played out as it is written in this complaint.

Customer Service, your statement is incorrect! You did not offer to pay for my transportationThe offer was a $*** gift certificateThat is not the price of transportation there and backAlso, I understand that traffic, inclement weather, etc could possibly dictate the delivery of my vehicle, however that is not the case, and that is why I sent my vehicle as early as I did (not to mention this was based on a planned schedule set by the agent I booked it with). He counted the days it took from Hawaii to California, and then counted the days it would take from California to AtlantaNothing obstructed the delivery, other than poor planning on the part of the delivery companyI was told that there was no delivery trucksNot bad weather, or anything out of your controlI even spoke to a driver almost a week priorI was not told that my vehicle would be delivered later that day, but a week laterAnd when I got there to pick up my vehicle, there were gentlemen just sitting in a bay(could have been delivering my truck)

The company did not provide the service as promised and paid forWhen asked to refund a portion of the fee, they refusedThe charge was disputed with *** and they refunded the amount in questionRoadrunner then started the collection process against me for the refunded amountThey refused all efforts to settle

Do not use this so called transport company unless you are prepared to not have your vehicle picked up on date given, lied to by the company that it has or driver broke down (oh pluueezz) and have them dupe you into thinking their tracking system online is the real deal It's a friggen graphic and don't mean squat They will keep your deposit too I wish this company was in my state because I'd be at their door

we contacted roadrunner auto transport weeks before we wanted our truck transported to arizona, they said no problem,,several contacts with them over the week period, the friday before the truck was supposed to be picked up, pick up spot still unknown, we were told to call at 9am saturday morning, we did and got an answering machine, stating that the offices were closed...I proceeded to email the people we talked to every 15minutes throughout the day, no reply...we contacted someone else and got the truck set up for pickup...my son was boarding his plane on Monday morning when he received a call from Roadrunner asking when they could set up the pick up of the truck, liked nothing happened...the most aggravating thing about this whole thing is that on Friday, we were told, don't worry this is what we do as business, everyday...well...they are really bad at it...and I would not recommend them to anyone

Not pleased with their pickup and responses to questions when I call for a status update It is as if they are reading from a script with no good results Their best response is we will contact the Carrier (which evidently never happens)We were told that the car would be delivered on 2/** and today is 3/* and nothing
