VA Chili Cookoff

Review: Bought tickets to the va chili cookoff for breast cancer awaremness. Noticed it was calling for rain and checked the website and noticed there was no chili, no alcohol, and certain bands had cancelled which was all promised when tickets were bought. $15 per person for 4 people. The website stated you had to request refund before 3 friday, which it was after that time. Website and facebook account has been taken down by company and someone did email me and say they would not refund b/c we did not ask before 3.(Facebook account did say all refunds would be honored, then the next day they put you had to request by 3). If we had not checked the website bc of the rain, we would have showed up to find all the things we paid for were not there. There should not have been a time frame put on the refund b/c they did not supply what we paid for.Desired Settlement: $66.50 was spend on tickets and we did not attend the event b/c of all the changes. You should not advertise food and alcohol beofre you get the liscense to sell those things at an event. I feel like it was a bait and switch move and we should not have to eat the cost.
