November 20, 2015Dear *** ***;On June 27, *** & *** *** purchased a timeshare from *** ***, The program was explained to them in its entirety and chose to purchase a one bedroom Green season in *** that is equal to 38,pointsThey can use
those points for a full week at *** *** during the Green season or deposit them with Interval International, our exchange company, and use them for different size units or shorter staysThey can if they choose come back to *** *** for weekendsHowever there is no way they would turn them into weekendsA stay at *** costs an average of $159,a night which without tax would be $318,a weekend times would be a $value each year.The ***'s paid a total of $for a year contract, I have spoken to *** multiple times and explained this to her, she has the points confused with our Rewards ProgramWe have a Referral Program, if you refer someone to take a tour you receive Rewards and yes you can stay at *** ***for Rewards Points a night, but these are earned thru bringing referralsOur referral director, myself and *** *** have explained this to her*** & *** were very happy when they purchasedThe contract was read to them and they were fine with everythingThey were so pleased that they came back the following weekend and we treated their family to water park passesIn no way did we misrepresent nor give them the wrong contract to signWe have spoken to *** *** and told her we would like to sit down with her and she has asked for a meeting which we have agreed to at her convenienceOur timeshare program has been at *** *** since We have over 20,satisfied members, Our closing process is extremely thorough and leaves no room for misunderstandingI hope this is satisfactory with you and we will continue to work with *** & *** ***,Sincerely,Patricia P

As my Dads Power of Attorney, I responded to a giveaway letter he received guaranteeing him of winning one of four prizesI explained that only I could attend required minute tour of Resort to receive prize and that my boyfriend, not my fiancee or husband would not be attendingWas told that was fine and to be there August 10, at pmArrived after driving in treacherous rain for and hour and a half to be told by a rude manager that my boyfriend would have to comeI was furious but maintained my composure, as my three year old was with me and I didn't want to alarm herI was showed that door and told "Thank you Much " in a very nasty toneI was truly interested in the resort and very interested in the promised prize but was treated like garbageI hope nobody else goes through this, especially with their toddlers alongside

Review: My name is [redacted] and I recently got married at [redacted] Resort on 10/18/14. I am extremely disgusted regarding my experience at [redacted]. My family and I are still upset about all the mistakes made before, during and after the wedding. We paid approximately $40,000 on our wedding and it was a terrible experience. My husband and I firmly believe that we did not get what we paid for. I believe we should be compensated for all the mistakes that were made by your employees. The employees of [redacted] are incredibly disorganized and show they do not care about the guest. They not only did almost everything wrong, but also stole from us. (Our favors and hotel welcome bags that guest never received). Listed below are the reasons why our experience was so terrible.

1. Most guests did not receive hotel bags (therefore they did not get

the note about the breakfast that was paid for)

2. At 9:00pm there were still tables not served dinner when other tables

were already done eating. Some tables did not get their dinner until 9:30pm.

3. We asked TWICE for our dinner to be packaged and sent to our room and it

was not (We did not eat any of our filet dinner that was paid

for)

4. People who were not our guests came into the reception hall and STOLE

our favors, the candy apples. (The employees should be alert to who

enters the reception hall)

5. There were some people standing in the reception hall drinking

alcohol who were not our guests. (Shouldn't the employees pay attention to this?)

6. There were countless room reservations messed up in so many ways.

Some guests had to leave that night because they had no room reserved

because of the front desk. And there were so many other problems with

guests making reservations and nobody getting back to them. Guests called

countless times and no one helped them, they had to leave a message, and no one returned their calls.

7. They even messed up my room reservation for the day before the wedding and it took an hour to

get it resolved!

8. At the end of the reception, there were left over candy apples that

were apparently taken by the employees and not saved for us.

9. We spent $200.00 on everything for the hotel welcome bags and I have

no idea where they went since most people did not get them. I am

assuming the employees took them also.

10. At the cocktail hour my sister had to buy her own drink at The Lodge

because only 1 drink order was taken and not everybody was asked. The

bridal party was also paid for and no one was there to get them

anything????

11. Our ceremony started 30 minutes late because none of the employees even thought to wipe down

the wet chairs!!! My guests had to wipe down the chair themselves.

12. The ceremony site was never decorated with the white linen and I was told it would be.

13. There were not any shuttles for the guest to get from the [redacted] to the Ceremony site.

14. We only had one shuttle to bring us back to the [redacted] (for 12 people)

15. We were supposed to have a room for us at the [redacted] for cocktail hour and it was never set up. I

had to roam around and find Alyssa because I did not know where to go and no one told me.

16. The morning of our breakfast, they changed the room where it was located and did not tell anyone.

17. Many of my emails were often left unanswered by the wedding specialist. I would not get a response for days and sometimes even weeks.

18. Several days ago I contacted the Director of Marketing(George H[redacted]) regarding my complaints and I did not recieve a response.Desired Settlement: Minimum $5,000

Review: We booked a two night stay at the Split Rock Resort/ LODGE for July 12th 2013-July 14th 2013. On the evening of July 12th there was an apparent sewage accident in the hotel. All parts of the hotel, including inside our room as well as the restaurant "Bel'ago" smelled like raw sewage. It was difficult for the adults as well as our two children to deal with nauseasness caused by the intense smell of sewage, neverless being able to sleep through it. When approaching the manager in the morning saying that we did not want to stay a second night due to this incident he said that he understood and yes there was a problem but first offered to try to find a different accomodation. We were not interested and insisted on getting our money refunded for the second night since we didn't plan on staying as well as for the first night since it was a less than acceptable situation we found us in. The manager at the time did not want to offer any refund for the overnight from July 12th to 13th and only wanted to refund the night from 13th to 14th. After a lengthy conversation he offered to discount the previous night by 30%. Although not happy with the outcome we agreed in order to be able to leave.

At this point the resort has only refunded the second night but has not held up to their word and to discount the overnight stay from 12th to 13th. I have approached them by email myself and wished for them to contact me but have gotten no response.Desired Settlement: I wish for the Resort to abide by their word. I would like to be refunded the entire first nights and not just anymore the refund amount promised.

Review: I booked a room at [redacted] resort for valentines day after a ski trip. after skiing I arrived at [redacted] to pick up my key to my room. I barely made it into and out of the parking lot. The driveway was not plowed, salted, or sanded. After getting my key we were told to drive to another location where we would be staying. When I arrived at the 2nd parking lot I noticed the driveway was not plowed, salted, or sanded either. We arrived at our room which was # [redacted] at around 11:00 pm. The room was nice but I noticed there was no lock on the back door. Anyone from outside could come right into my room. When I booked the room they told me about the balcony and how nice it was and when I arrived they didnt even shovel off the snow. I showered and put on dry clothes and left to go eat since there was no food or room service at hotel. I went to pull out and immediately got stuck in the parking lot. I was very upset considering everywhere else I went to in PA was plowed and clear of snow and ice. I went back to my room to call the front desk and when I called I was told security would be sent over right away. I waited outside in the cold and nobody showed up. I was outside for about an hour trying to get my car unstuck and waiting for security to come. I then went back inside to call the front desk again. The woman who answered gave me an attitude and told me to call back in the morning. I told her my boyfriend needed food to take his medication she again said to call back in the am. I told her I had not eaten all day and she responded she would send security. Again I waited and no security showed up. I then called another number for guest services and told them I wanted a refund and I would not stay at the hotel. I also told her I would not be able to drop off keys because of the driveway conditions. This woman told me she would send security to pick up the room keys. I waited another hour outside and security showed up after 2:00 am. He helped me push my car out of the lot. The security guard told me I would get a refund and to call in the morning.

I called the next day and asked for a manager I was told to leave my name and number and I would be called back on Monday the 17th. I did not receive a call back so I again called. I spoke to an assistant manager and explained what happened. She said she was gonna check the security report and call me back. She never called back.

I called again today which is Tuesday the 18th and was told again that a manager would call me back. It is now 3:00 pm and still no response.

I took pictures and videos of the back door with no locks and the back balcony covered in snow.

I also took pictures and videos of the parking lot.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the total amount of the room.
