We are very proud of our high level of customer service and outstanding service to our community. In sixteen years of private practice, we have no unresolved complaints with the Revdex.com.

Hello,I apologize, I thought the complaint was complete. The resolution I am seeking is a refund of $1556 that was the program price.  I do not feel that Dr. Vactor & his office staff offered reliable medical information regarding the program & when I began to ask questions they became...

hostile, both through email & over phone communication.  Lastly- they told me not to email them regarding the program- which being the main means of communication, they essentially made it impossible to complete the program in the manner it was sold to me.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I have received the paperwork from Dr. Vactor's office, provided the terms of that agreement are honored, we have a satisfactory resolution.
Regards,
[redacted]

Dr Vactor’s diet is unlike anything I have been on before. I was looking to lose weight before my wedding. I thought this would be my answer to looking beautiful on my wedding day)I talked with Dr Vactor about my weight goals. He recommended 2 1/2 cycles $2700 (I think those were the numbers brain cancer memory issues). It was such a quick overview of the book and products. So I went home and read and reread to try to figure this all out. When to take the drops, creams and other products. I called with a question and they were rude. You can not call for counseling only email because “they were busy with new clients. So my first plateau I was scolded for waiting so long. I guess you have to have exactIy 500 calories. I did not understand that. I said you are not here fri sat sun, it is Mon and I am emailing. I was told not to wait and the counselor checked emails over the weekend. She recommended I start over starting Sat. So I started again. By day 7 I was sick from the food. She gave me some suggestions and 2 days later I told her I had gained weight. Her answer was “why? Only I know” WHAT! Where do I go from here to get a refund?

Dr.Vactor Weightloss Program: I had a friend make an appointment for a consultation with Dr.Vactor. She was told that she could bring a friend. She asked me to come along to be her eyes and ears. I drove 45 minutes to the office to attend the consultation with her. When they started to walk us back to the room, I was informed that I could watch the video with her but that I was not allowed in the room with her once the “doctor” came in. I questioned this policy and was told that it was HIPPA law and office policy. I called BS on the HIPPA law as she as the patient has the RIGHT to have anyone she wants in the room. The office staff then became very RUDE and OBNOXIOUS. I was told not to touch any of their stuff and to sit down and BE STILL! Plus they threatened to kick me out of the office.

This “program” is a JOKE and screams FRAUD! They pitched the program to her in 10 minutes and asked for $1700 for a 30 day round and when she said she couldn’t afford it, they asked her what her credit score was.

They don’t want a second person in the room because they don’t want to have someone ask questions so they can prey on people who are desperate and vulnerable to lose weight.

As my friends health coach, I advised her that she CAN do this WITHOUT drops and cream!

I too wanted to leave a review based on my incredible experience! I started my program back in November of 2016. My first few weeks were tough because I was detoxing from sugar/carbs. Once I got past that, the weight just melted off. The program is very simple once you get in the swing of things. It certainly isn't easy because it is strict, but boy does it work! I have lost just under 50 lbs after 2 rounds. I am so beyond grateful for Dr Vactors program and the office staff's support. If you want results & are willing to make some big sacrifices for 40 days then I encourage you to do this diet. It's changed my life!

**NOTE: Reading some of the comments below frustrated me beyond belief. Most of the complaints have to do with people wanting refunds after they made their decision. If you choose to purchase a non refundable product, that is nobody else's responsibility other than your own. The office staff has dealt with myself, my grandmother and a few of my friends and we have never had any issues with innopproirate pressure to buy OR a bad attitude about getting questions answered (and I had quite a bit my first round). They are selling a product and following common sales procedures. If you can't understand that, then that sounds like a personal lack of knowledge in regards to sales in general. Please do not take your bad decisions out on a helpful staff who has played a role in changing many lives for the better.

This article is rhetorical it does not give any facts e.g. how much weight this person was looking to loose, did this person try to discipline themselves to try to loose the weight, how desperate were to loose at any expense that take them out of the realm of reasoning, what was the caloric intake was it to an extreme that anyone would loose the weight using some over the counter supplements to help burn fat and reduce cravings Rapid weight loss does nothing for the metabolism but cause a person to regain the weight once they go back to a normal calorie intake.

I did the program and after reading the reviews below I wanted to comment that Dr. Vactor's staff was always pleasant. Their office hours are not 9-5 everyday so I understand why request that all questions be sent via email. They were very quick to respond whenever I had questions. Over all, I lost 64 pounds in about three months and never had an issue with billing or having my questions answered.

Review: I purchased my weight loss kit from Dr Vactor at the end of October 2015.It has never been used when I bought it was the last person in the office for the day.I felt very pressured and rushed into making the purchase. The next I tried to return the kit and was told no.You don`t even know what the true program is until u read the book that comes in your kit that u get to only look at AFTER your purchase.A few weeks ago I stopped in to get a copy of a paper that I signed and was treated very rudely buy one staff member. There must be a good reason why u have to sign a no return paper I think its because they know they are being dishonest about the kit and what it actually does.My doctor has told me Not to use the program its not healthy to lose weight that way.PLUS when u have diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol its not healthy. If I had got to read at least some of the book that came with kit I would have not even got it.Desired Settlement: I am looking for my full $1500.00 I paid for the kit and I will return the unused and unopened kit.

Review: Although there were many complaint types, this might be the closest. When someone is overweight, it is certainly a health issue. It is my belief that [redacted] D.C. takes advantage of this matter. For $1,500.00 you receive a bottle of water - refillable when driving to their location; and a breakfast drink. Most importantly - aside from the emotional damage that weight gain/loss causes - is the ridiculous cost of this program! You are told to skip breakfast and drink only the "shake". What real doctor ever tells you to skip breakfast? Because I was in such a bad state-of-mind, I paid for this product and was taken full advantage of.Desired Settlement: I suggested other but would like to clarify. To receive my money back would be ideal. It is also for the Revdex.com to make others aware that this line is just that!

Review: I was taken into the office and not explained the program, but immediately they took my credit application. I did agree to the terms, but lost now weight and when I wrote about it, the Doctor called me back and said he would have his staff call me to come in for a consultation. This never occured, even though they did state in a letter to me that they tried several times. This was not true, nor did they offer me 4 lower monthly payments to pay off the balance after the credit was taken for 1,000. They also stated that in a letter to the creditor. They said I said when I called, I was having financial difficulties, but actually I was quite pleased with myself that I had money to pay for the balance. They ran my card 3 times instead of two for $345 and I had to be refunded that amount. I worked the program and lost no weight and he claimed I said I did not answer the questions he asked me. His letter to the creditor, Carecredit was full of lies to them. I was not throughly explained the program or allowed to watch the video before my credit being run. I have a copy of the letter they sent me if you would like a copy.Desired Settlement: I would like a total refund for the lies told to me. I admit that weight loss is not a definite program, but this was my first one and their claims to be better than weight watchers or someone else are just false and he advertises in Pittsburgh on a Christian Station , which I also wrote to.

Review: I entered into a weight loss program with Dr. Vactor in December. He was very persuasive and assured me the program was safe for me even with my health issues. He spent approximately ten minutes with me total. I was then given a gallon of water and a small bag with some herbal drops and cremes, a food scale and booklet. For this I agreed to pay over 1500 dollars because I desperately wanted to lose weight. I left the office a bit confused and unsure about the program but was told I could email with any questions. I live over an hour from this office anyway so I figured that the email would be to e although I thought it a bit odd that you are not encouraged to call the office or stop in with problems. In fact, upon reading the booklet you are instructed to absolutely not call the office and to only email. That upset me a bit because you are paying for services and restricted how you can do so. When I went to see my primary care physician on my regular appointment on the second day of this diet, she told me to stop it immediately and that it is very unsafe not only for me but anyone. Upon further investigation I found that this diet is considered dangerous by most medical doctors. I immediately stopped the diet and emailed Dr. Vactors office stating that my medical doctor advised me to not do the diet and so ce I just started I am requesting my initial payment refunded and that I would return all products. An employee responded telling g me that she did not see an issue with me continue using on the diet even though my doctor said to stop it. I respond on December 30th saying that I felt that my doctor whom I see regularly for my health issues would be best qualified to make that decision, rather than Dr Vactor who is not. I did not get a response to that email so I emailed again on Jan 4th and was told Dr Vactor would respond to my email. I have yet to receive such email. I am requesting a refund of my initial payment because services were not rendered. I notified the office staff I would not be utilizing their services at the request of my doctor. A refund policy should be in place at any reputable business when services are not rendered.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund of my initial payment.

Review: I went to Dr. Vactor for a free consultation. While I chose not to enroll, I must say that I was treated respectfully. However, I am concerned about the amount of personal information that was collected prior to the consultation. In addition to basic personal and health information (which I understand) I was asked specific information about birth date, employer information, and social security number. I was also asked to give the receptionist my driver's license and she made a copy of it. I did express my concern regarding privacy and she did say that they would shred all of the information if I chose not to enroll in the program. I did ask them to do so before leaving the facility. However, I am not sure as to why this information was necessary before I chose whether or not to participate.Desired Settlement: I would simply ask that the organization review the amount of personal information that they collect from prospective clients and provide a rationale as to why the information is necessary. I also think that they should consider providing information as to how the information is stored and shared or destroyed.

Review: On 4/22 I entered a contract with Dr. Vactor & his staff to begin a weight loss program. After the per-screening & signing of the contract I was given a book & other program materials. I was also told that I would have a lot of questions & please do not hesitate to email [redacted].

I began the program on 4/27 & of course I had questions, I emailed [redacted] quite often. The questions pertained to the program & why I was not getting results. Over the course of 19days I had only lost 8 lbs & I had been following the program & emailing [redacted]. On Day 19 Dr Vactor called, rather agitated with me & my amount of emailing- I tried my best to politely explain to him that this is my first time in the program & the emails were the only way of contact & I had invested too much allow this to fail. This is where Dr. Vactor told me that I was no longer to email [redacted], or he would "discharge" me from the program. I thought about this & on 5/16 emailed [redacted]... to which she confirmed that Dr. Vactor had told me not to email & that I was rude & demanding.

How am I supposed to succeed in this program if I cannot email, or receive program advice? That is as good as being "discharged" from the program.

The advice I have received over the past 19 days is conflicting at best, wild swings & program changes regarding the amount of protein (varying as much as from 3-6oz then back again), this of course is going to lead to questions.Desired Settlement: I have the emails confirming Dr. Vactor's office of being hostile as well as short with me, as well as the conversation that I had with Dr. Vactor on 5/19 was very adversarial. Though I was not formally "discharged" from the program, I feel that the call on 5/19 was an attempt to have me "walk away from it". They have offered to give me another cycle of the program due to the lack of results- I do not feel this an agreeable outcome due to the conduct & attitude of Dr. Vactor & his staff (primarily [redacted]).
