contract clearly states our prices for the different services we provide. The backflow test price is clearly stated at $105, as he mentioned. It is also stated that any parts used in a repair (unless under warranty) will be charged at the manufacturer’s list price. This has been our practice for many years, so Mr. [redacted] has been made aware of this each year that he has signed and returned his contract to us. He needed a total relief valve kit to repair his ¾” Watts 009 backflow. [redacted] is offering a new backflow at a price that is much lower than the manufacturer’s list price for 2015. Mr. [redacted] was standing with our service technician as they discussed the repair needed, watched as our technician went to retrieve the part from his van, and continued to watch as he replaced the part and retested the backflow for the county. He had ample opportunity to stop/reject the repair, but did not. We could remove the part we replaced, but could not take back the backflow test that was performed and sent into the county with a passing certification. Mr. [redacted] needs to pay his total bill due ($269.23), which is now accruing late charges. However, I have recently worked out a price agreement with our supplier to lower the price of this particular Watts kit, as we use and purchase them often, so I am willing to pass that savings along to Mr. [redacted] and waive his late fees (new price of $226.38) if he will simply pay his invoice. We are an honest, reasonable company providing our customers with estimates and visible pricing. Our office staff is available Monday-Friday, 8-4, to assist our customers with any questions they may have. Our service technicians carry cell phones and are able to contact the office, or the owner, with any questions they may not be able to answer. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business never asked for permission to change the scope of work and continues to see nothing wrong with that.  I can no longer trust their services.  Under protest, I will pay $226.38, for the authorized inspection and the unauthorized repair, minus 1/2 of the prepaid contract ($82.50) that they will refund for the winterization service they will not be delivering, as soon as they send me a corrected invoice that shows this balance of $143.88.

RESPONSE TO Revdex.com LETTER DATED 7/8/15:Our customer stated he is unsatisfied with our response to his original complaint. It seems the only option he is willing to accept is if we charged him nothing other than the fee to test his backflow ($105.00). Unfortunately, that is not possible. He was with our service technician throughout the entire service call. He could have inquired about the price of the part being replaced at any time, which he did not. He needs to pay his current bill of $226.38, that we have generously discounted. The only other option available is to have us come back to his home, remove the part we replaced in his backflow, fail his backflow, and report the failed test to the county, which will end up costing him more money in the long run, as he will have to replace the part and have someone retest his backflow, otherwise the city will turn his water off. Review: First when the food was delivered, the restaurant had quoted one price over the phone and when they arrived, my card was processed with an entirely different amount. Then when we started looking at the food, the order was incorrect. When the restaurant was called to let them know about the order and the card being charged incorrectly, the initial person handed the phone to the owner, I presume. He said that because the order was not prepared correctly with the sauce that it was supposed to, that he didn't see what the problem was and that he will just send some sauce, meantime while having a cold sandwich. He stated what was the big deal in sending just the sauce. he said he was not going to fix another sandwich when all that was needed was the sauce on it. I explained the sauce should have been cooked on it, that is what a Gyro is and he said that he was NOT going to that and just send the sauce, so I told him how about he bring a new sandwich and I will give him the cold one that was not cooked correctly back and he said no, then after arguing back and forth he said that he will bring anew sandwich fixed correctly and that we never call him again to place an order. I then proceeded to tell him that he overcharged my card and he said that he didn't want to hear anything else from me and hung up. This is the worst expression of customer service when all that was wanted was a sandwich prepared correctly. When you are spending almost $10 for a sandwich, what was the problem in doing that for your customer.Desired Settlement: An apology

Review: I made an order for meatlovers pizza and vegetable pizza when it arrived the vegetable pizza had meat on it while the meatlovers had a long piece hair call to tell them and they fought against me saying I was lying then said he will send another one when the deliver man arrive I showed him the two pizza he only came with one which was the vegetable pizza then he call his best because my sister ate the pizza until she notice meat n the pizza then he got in his car and drove off we call his boss and he said we were playing around and not to call back. I didn't get my money back or pizzaDesired Settlement: 30 dollars or more

After speaking with [redacted] from the company on 9/18/13 he stated he switched the pizza out for the customer. The customer has made several complaints in the past as well.
