Review: [redacted] WENT INTO CONTRACT WITH ME ON 8/**/2014 TO REMOVE 1 WALL ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GARAGE AND LEAVE 2 FT IN THE FRONT AND 3 FT MOVE IN THE BACK.TO INSTALL BEAMS TO HOLD THE GARAGE ROOF. TO BUILD ANOTHER WALL APPROXIMATELY ON THE PROPERTY LINE, FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER. TO EXTEND THE ROOF OVER THE NEW WALL TO INSTALL A 28 INCH DOOR AND TO MOVE ELECTRICAL LINE OVER TO NEW WALL. WHEN I CAME HOME FROM VACATION ON SEPT.[redacted]. ONLY ONE WALL WAS ERECTED AND I HAD A FLOOD IN MY GARAGE. I TRIED TO CALL HIM EVERY DAY FOR 2 WEEKS HIS [redacted] SAID SHE WOULD GIVE HIM THE MESSAGE THAT I CALLED BUT HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS.FINALLY THE [redacted] CALLED AND SAID AN ELECTRITIAN WOULD BE STARTING WORK 4 DAYS LATER HE CAME. IN THE MEANTIME MOORE FLOODS. THE ELECTRICIAN LEFT OPEN LIVE WIERS ON THE GARAGE FLOOR. I CALLED AGAIN FOR DAYS HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS. FINALLY HE CALLED AND SAID THE ROOFER WOULD BE COMMING. 4 DAYS LATER THE ROOFER STARTED WORK. HE ORDER THE WRONG SIZE DOOR AND THE DOOR REMAINED IN MY UNFINISHED GARAGE FOR 5 MORE DAYS UNTIL I HAD HAD ENOUGH AND BROUGHT THE DOOR TO HIS WORK PLACE SPOKE TO HIS [redacted]/ DAUGHTER. LETTING HER AND HIM KNOW I WAS COMPLETELY NOT SATISFIED AND FELT HE HAD DISINTAGRATED THE CONTRACT. WHAT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN ANY WHERE FROM 1 TO 2 WEEKS TURNED INTO. 6 WEEKS OF UNFINISHED WORK.MY HANDICAP WIFE WAS FORCED TO STRUGGLE TO FIND PARKING AND WALK. THIS IS UNEXCEPTABLEDesired Settlement: I WILL BE HIRING SOME OTHER COMPANY TO FINISH THE WORKAND NOT PAYING HIM THE 3000.00 DOLLAR BALANCE. I FEEL HE SHOULD GIVE ME 1000.00 BACK OUT OF THE MONEY I GAVE HIM.

Review: Contracted to remove and relay cement on sidewalk, driveway and walkway andto remove and replace two steps -- job cost $5,780, was done may 2014 and by December 2014 the cement began cracking, crumbling and the stepsseparating. Numerous messages were left and I was told he would callwhen he has time. Todate even the curtesy of a return call has nothappened.Desired Settlement: Poor craftsmanship plus awful customer relations - would neverwant to use his services for anything. Will need to replace withsomeone else.

Review: This Complaint involves a Safety Issue. SV Contractors Repointed the Slate Steps and surrounding brick with Cement. These are the steps that lead to my front door. The job was done with poor quality and not done correctly. Within a month, the concrete started to crumble. The [redacted] finally came to look at the Crumbling cement on March [redacted] 2015. He agreed and committed to returning on April [redacted] 2015 at 1PM, to repair the steps. I confirmed the appointment with his office staff, [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] (His daughter who also owns the Company). They confirmed with me and I took a day off from work. AT 9 minutes to 1 PM, on April [redacted], [redacted] called to say [redacted] was not showing up for the appointment to fix the steps! I have called them numerous times to confirm another date to fix the steps. The secretaries, [redacted] and [redacted] promise to contact [redacted] and return my call. They have never returned my call! Home Advisors also has tried to contact them several times and they will not call them either! The concrete is crumbling and the steps need to be Repaired. This is a safety issue! I have all the necessary documentation; Contract with Job Paid in full for $1,190.00, dated September **, 2014.. I have numerous photos of the steps with the crumbling concrete. Please help me with this issue. I paid this [redacted] in full and in good faith! He is not going to fix the Sub Par job that he did. Please advise! Thank you!Regards,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like SV Contractors to fix the concrete on the steps. It is a safety issue. If they will not fix the steps, then I want my Money Refunded. Thank you!

Review: My neighbor and I have a shared driveway. Late last fall we had the old asphalt taken up and a new concrete driveway put in. Shortly thereafter and over the next few months cracks began to appear in multiple places. We have called the contractor numerous times and left messages asking for him to look at the driveway and let us know what he could/would do to fix the problems.

To date he has not even returned our calls.Desired Settlement: repair the cracks

Review: We contracted Valenza in May 2014.They carried out repairs in June and were paid in full ($15,000). However the work was not professionally finished: cement was left on the slate tiles and unsightly pieces of old grouting were left around the property. I called. They returned to re-attach the fixture for our garden hoses, and removed the worst of the smudges left on the slates. By July some of the grouting was disintegrating; I called back, left a message but never got a call in return.One year later: The problem has exacerbated -- slates are loose and border cement is coming away in pieces.I have called at least six times with the promise each time that he would call back.Nothing.This work will have to be re-done. We deserve a better after service than this. As customers we have behaved in as polite and 'professional' manner as possible and we are not getting that in return from this business.We have spent a lot of money and have not received a satisfactory service. We called yesterday in the same manner but we are very very frustrated and informed them that if we didn't get the call back and a call out to address these problems we would be taking the matter to the Revdex.com. That is the current status. We will also post this to social media so that other potential customers will be alerted.Desired Settlement: We would like the owner to come back to the property and make good the problems with his work.We have considered calling a different contractor and have had quotes for re doing all of this work but feel justified to have the original contractor (Valenza) come back and fix the work we have already spent a lot of money on.
