From my conversation with [redacted], the designer who designed the [redacted]'s kitchen as well as placed the order for the additional undermount lights, the only reason that the lights were not used was...

because the contractor configured the electricity incorrectly for this type of light. Since there are so many undermount lights on the market, the contractor should have waited for the part to come in before he ran the electricity to the cabinets. As the part was a special order from the factory, the industry standard for special ordered items are no refunds or returns unless defective. If they purchased this part from another retailer who had to special order it, the return would not have been accepted there either. Unfortunately, even though [redacted] was not authorized to accept the return and never should have, because he did and a return was issued, we will refund the money to the customer. A check will be sent out via Priority Mail. Thank you.

Review: Hello,We spent over 15k with Valley when re-doing our kitchen and bath. We were told to order LED lights for the undermounts of the kitchen that Valley designed. I had asked that they call our contractor so that they could confirm what was needed which never happened and hte lights sold didn't work with the configuration in place. We lost about 300 dollars in custom moulding to hide the aforementioned lights but returned the $400 worth of LED lights, unopened in original packaging which was accepted for return and we even got a receipt. One could argue they should be responsible for the entire amount but we just asked for a refund on the lights. A few days later, the [redacted] made his employee (who originally accepted receipt and issued the refund) to tell us we would not be receiving the money because this is special order. There is absolutely no reason they cannot sell general LED lights to another customer. Afterall, they are a kitchen design store and do this on a weekly basis. We tried reaching out to [redacted] a half a dozen times on the phone, left multiple emails asking for a return call and have stopped in 3 times to speak with him and have been completely ignored so far. As far as I am concerned, this is theft as they have the lights in their possession and we have not received a refund nor gotten a call to try to resolve this matter. We have been taken advantage of and feel as if we have been tricked. All future customers should be aware of the lack of customer service and integrity of the [redacted] of this firm. They encouraged us to pay with check or cash so there is no way to dispute this through our credit card firm which is why we are raising this matter to the Revdex.com of NYC. Your help is appreciated.Desired Settlement: We would like the amount promised provided back to us. Item returned on 4/* - receipt was issued then. Total amounted (for just the lights) $404.Thank you
