Valley Express Towing & Auto Repair

So I was on my way to work and my Lexus died on the freeway. I heard about this place from some friends as I needed a tow and the car repaired I gave them a call.

First off they told me the driver would be there in 45 minutes to pick up my car, he was actually early. Never had that with a tow company before. It's usually twice the time they estimate. The drive was extremely nice and had my car loaded and on it's way to the shop in no time.

When I arrived at the shop Tony checked me in. After I explained what happened he said they would call me in a few hours after they found out what was wrong. Tony called a few hours later explain the alternator was shot. He told me what the estimate was at that time, explained when the part would be in and that there may be additional electrical damage caused by the alternator but wouldn't know till after they got it up and running. While they had it I had them check a few other things the dealership told me I needed after my last visit. Tony called me the next day and told me there was no additional damage. He also had his Toyota master mechanic look at the other issues. The mechanic told him my motor was notorious for the issues the dealer listed but they didn't need to be fixed on my vehicle. Lets just say the dealer and other places I called wanted a few thousand to fix said non-issues.

Bottom line, the entire experience was great. It's also nice to finally find a mechanic in this city I can trust. I would highly recommend anyone to take their vehicle here for repair.

First off they are very rude. Not a service oriented business. They have all the control and refuse to communicate should there be a difference. I called to discuss my side of the difference in the morning at 10;40 (extreme rudeness) asked for the supervisor. I was told the supervisor was not available and requested a call back. I called back at 12;20 no supervisor! It's now 4:00 and still waiting for a call!!!

However the experience I had with the repair shop in Mesa Arizona was terrible. I was told that there was no compression in my engine which and that the engine would need to be replaced. I was quoted about $3,000 for a new engine that had about 15,000 more miles than my current engine. I decided that I it would not be worth fixing so I decided to not do it. GOOD THING I DID THAT!!! Got a second opinion from another mechanic and was told that I had a blown head gasket and which cost just over $900 to fix. I am usually not one to write reviews but I was very disappointed with this repair shop so though I would try to help others know what they could expect form Valley Express Towing and Auto Repair.
