Review: I have contacted Valley Furniture Shop many times over the purchase of a sitting chair. First with many follow ups regarding delivery which of the chair. I was given many erroneous dates,. It took over 3 months to get the delivery. Once the item was delivered we were not certain it was the item we had picked out from the floor sample. We were told by Valley that the floor sample had been sold. Hence we could not compare what we received. However, it became evident that aspect of the chair were not what we remember it as, such as plushness especially the cushion. Valley could not verify our plushness aspect concerns of the chair. They started given us stories such as the seat cushion did come in a more plush version but we did not order the plush version. I told them I never heard of different plush cushions options being ever offered in any furniture when we purchase it. This response I was given from Valley I believe a game they played to put me off guard. I requested that they provide me proof that the chair delivered to our home was in fact the one we saw on their showroom floor, with the plush aspects. It has been over two weeks since Valley Furniture Shop said they would make good on our request and purchase within a day after we spoke yet they have not done so. I have called the store several times since then and they do not response to my phone calls. Given the above I request all future communication be provided in writing and this matter get resolved by 2/06/15.Desired Settlement: Verifiable proof that what we saw on their showroom floor as well as proof we were provided knowledge that the item came in different plush versions. Note: the owner filled out the order forms never verifying, by showing us the number on the show room matched the order form numbers. The one we sign off on the order we took the owner's word, a mistake, was the plush one we saw on the show room floor and purchased on 8/30/14. If they are not able to fully prove the order placed by us was in fact what we received a full refund of our purchase and pick up of the erroneous items, chair and associated ottoman. In addition, some form of compensation for all the lost time and expense we incurred from their poor business practices. Resolution by 2/6/15.being
