Review: I went to Valley for an oil change on Friday July **, 2013. When I got home , my Check Engine light and Oil light both went on. I called a mechanic friend to check for a problem and when he looked at my engine, he asked if I had gotten my oil changed. When I responded yes, he told me that whoever changed my oil , did not add new oil to my engine and that my engine was without any oil, which could cause my engine and motor to fail. He then added 4 quarts of motor oil to my engine. I went back to Valley and explained the situation, their employees told me that I was lying and that it was impossible that they didnt add oil to my engine. I told them my mechanic verified it and that I had to add 4 quarts of oil to the engine, they told me thats too bad and there was nothing they would do for me.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $38 unpaid for the failed oil change and an additional $20 that I spent to buy the 4 quarts of motor oil that was needed for my engine. I also deserve an apology for the way I was spoken to by the employees when I explained the situation to them.

Review: I went for an oil change and the sign reads as follows:full service oil change 33.98 + tax it also mentions other carols types of oil such as synthetic which I don't use for 49.95 and 64.95. When I went to pay the total was 42.44. I asked why it was so much. First he stated tax to which I replied"$9.00?". Then he said "well,your filter costs more" I said "why isn't that on your sign? " he saidthats just how much it is and you can talk to the manager if you want" the manager came in and I had the same conversation with him and he stated " I can't put every make of car on the sign you should have asked before you let them do it". I said "why should I ask when you have a sign up". I said" you should add to your sign an indication that it could be more ,like certain cars could be more ,or a range of prices from low to high example:33.98 >53.98 then I would know to ask what my particular car would be. He then stated"it's only 5 bucks what's the big deal?". And I said"well see if it's a big deal when I contact Revdex.com" he had no response and walked away. I have a picture of the sign on my cell phone if neededDesired Settlement: A refund of the extra five dollars and for them to change their sign and stop ripping people off.

The customer is correct. I will contact her to make arrangements for her $5 reimbursement and adjust the signage. It was an innocent oversight on my part. The employee was spoken to and I apologize for the misunderstanding.
