I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Could not have replaced sensor because the place I took it to replaced the same sensor. I should have taken a picture of car setting in weeds in back of shop. I guess he knew he wasn't gonna make a fortune on is because I didn't have money to fix at that time. I guess to this business if it isn't a $60,000 vehicle he could care less.  No, car didn't run good as he stated before leaving me sit in the middle of the road at 11:30pm . I dro ve to [redacted] and noticed a slight miss. On the way back it got worse and lost all power.  Var had not been driven in between getting it back and going to [redacted]. At this point it doesn't matter, I just know I will not be going back and will not recommended any of my family or friends to go there either. Car ran fine other than very small oil leak....no sensor lights on dashboard or anything. Everything went downhill after taking it to this shop.

Complaint  ID [redacted]    First off we don’t care if your vehicle is worth $10 or $60k. That statement is far From the truth. And as far as not making enough money off your vehicle, if that had been The case I would not had let you take it with a open invoice. With a lot of labor and parts we replaced. Not refunding any money back. It  was brought to for oil leak And we held up are end on that issue. As far as the vehicle not running that is not true Husband told us the problem running did not start until she was on her way back home. from [redacted], nothing we did would cause vehicle not to run correct. And the mass air sensorthat we replaced (and we did replace) was not even touched during the oil leak repair. We worked on the vehicle for 1 solid day and then off and on during the first week it was here. We had to take vehicle back out because we had finished checking everythingwe needed a lift for and we needed to get other vehicles in to work on and we told the husband this and he was fine with that      I do agree with one thing they have to say I do wish we had pictures of the car setting out back to show it was not in the weeds and we were working on it. It was on the pavement. Husband stated the day before the car was picked up to make a bill up for what they owed us. Well the bill is still here and I have a lot of time and some parts in it. If the same thing happened at any other shop you could not even takethe car until the bill was paid. And that brings me to another point most towing serviceswill not remove a vehicle from a business that has a open bill.      Not trying to be rude but if the customer does not want to refer anyone to us that is fine and I respect that. Just wish they would respect the fact we did no wrong and tried to help them out to find the issue. But that will not happen. But bottom line the vehicle was not leaking any oil any longer and I have a bill here that has not been paid. So I think I honored our end of the deal and repaired the oil leak and the customer did not honor there end and pay for time and parts we had in trying to find a problem we did not cause. Our track record at this business is past excellent and you can ask anyone who comes here or sends people to us and to say we don’t service your car because of its age or how much money you have. I think the issue is not with us. Thank you Valley Import Service LLC    vv

Replaced under warranty no charge to customer. So we had three codes in computer for miss fire. Checked plugs and coils. Plugs were fouled and had a bad coil. Installed coil and plugs still doing same thing. We took vehicle out back and parked on the lot (not in the weeds) we worked on vehicle between jobs and customer came in a few times and I told him this and he was fine with it. We noticed the manifold was getting very hot so we checked fuel pulled fuel sending unit out of tank and checked gas. Did not have a odor of gas had bad gas, we pumpedgas out and replaced with a few gallons of fresh gas. Still not difference. Customer came back in and told us he had heard that the mass air flow sensor would fix this problem so we installed , did not fixWe told customer we are trying and be patient we would find problem and he said ok I will leave it. SecondAfter vehicle had stopped and it was parked for all that time before it got back to our shop how do we knowSomeone did not mess with something. (not that is mattered that is not what it was brought to us for to start With) Third, no time did we put customer off , be dishonest, or replace anything that the vehicle did not Need. Forth, I have a bill here for the customer for the amount of $515.00 for work being done not Related to oil leak we fixed. So if anything here customer owes us not the other way around. We are not a fault for anything. And we believe we are not getting the complete story on the car anyway before we evenlooked at it to start off with. Cars no different than any other products out.
