Once again I apologize for the lack of communication on our part. I thought that I would hear back from you if mailing the refund of the appraisal fee would work to resolve this issue. The loan officer you dealt with has been out of the country until recently. He has tried calling you in the last couple of days to see if getting you the refund now would be satisfactory. I did not want to wait any longer to respond through this channel since we only have days to do so. I am sorry that you feel you have been lied to over and over. That is certainly not the way I want people to feel after dealing with my company. I will gladly get a check to you to reimburse you for the appraisal fee if that is acceptable. Please either respond in here or return *** phone call so we know how to handle this. I'd like to get this taken care of as soon as possible. I file this company last October about their bad service which lost my money on Revdex.com, and they reply to me below: Comment from the Business: I am very sorry to hear about your experience with Valley Mortgage. We take great pride in providing excellent customer service so this is very upsetting to me. We have not been able to remain in business for over 13 years by treating customers poorly. I will reimburse you for the cost of the appraisal and apologize for the misunderstanding and poor communication. by on 2014/10/16 I believed their promise, but I did not receive this money back until now! They do not keep their promise again and again, and I'm very disappointed with them!

Review: I cooperated with a mortgage lender to purchase a house. This lender ([redacted]) get my credit card information to order an appraisal on 09/29; and then she told me there is a good chance that the underwriting would not be approved on 9/30, and she also told me that the appraisal was successfully cancelled so I would not lose a cent if my case was rejected. On 10/01, she told me that my underwriting was rejected, meanwhile she confirmed to me that the appraisal was successfully canceled and my credit card will not be charged. We terminated the contract and I turned to another lender on the same day. Fully believing what she said, I did not checked my credit card activities until 10/08, and I surprisingly found $505 was charged, I called this lender and she still told me she indeed cancelled this appraisal successfully. However, she sent me an email with the appraisal documents later and said sorry. She did not notify me that this appraisal fee was charged until seven days later our contracted was terminated! Even worse, they refused to returned this money back to me, so I turned to ask for your help. In summary, this lender ([redacted]) processed an unauthorized credit card charges. I want this money ($505) back, thank you very much!Desired Settlement: I want them to return $505, either check or credit card credit is OK for me.
