To whom it may concern:Pursuant to complaint ID#: ***, we discussed the issue with both the patient who is very difficult to talk to In our multiple attempted conversations with the client who refused to listen and constantly became hostile and hung up the phone, we tried
to explain the services provided to her to no avail However once we spoke to the insurance carrier who agreed with the office the process was begun to make the necessary changes to resolve the concernsWe are a very caring and patient driven office with every possible intent to give our patients the best care possible, however there are times when everyone will not agree.Below is the correspondence sent to the patient to advise her of the status of her account.If there is any additional information you require of us please feel free to contact our office at (###-###-####Miss *** although you stated you have requested a call from the manager, which now would be me, I have no record of this request, however your concerns are important and I have reviewed your account As for the visits you feel you should not have been billed, the only discrepancy I found was for DOS 07/18/ That date of service was reported to *** to request a refund as it was processed in error, however the other dates of service were valid We have elected to write off the balance as a courtesy to you.I believe the misunderstanding was that the probability of additional charges during the post operative period being possible may not have been explained thoroughly If a patient has problems not related to the surgery performed such as UTI's, bladder infections, urinary frequency, incomplete bladder emptying, abbleeding, fever etc the office is allowed to charge this service I hope this explains everything to you, but know that the outstanding balances on your account have been resolved.Thank you,*** ***, Manager
