Valley Wide Restoration, Inc. Reviews (7)

After a recent water incident in our home, we interviewed several contractors and chose Valleywide Restoration. Bryan L[redacted] upheld every deadline and timeframe with wonderful results. We would recommend him and his team to anyone! Awesome job Bryan!!

Valley Wide Restoration has been a HORRIBLE experience. They were referred to us by our insurance company after having a severe leak in our roof. Valley wide strong armed my husband into signing a contract for an asbestos test which they claimed cost $400.00. After calling several companies we found out we could have run a sample down ourselves and had the same test done for only $20.00!! The very next day we called to cancel the test but were totally ignored, no one would return our calls. Furthermore, Valley Wide REFUSED TO GIVE US ANY COPY OF THE SIGNED CONTRACT EVEN THOUGH ONE WAS REQUESTED DURING THE SIGNING. They did nothing to alleviate our problems such as tarp ofF the roof, the dry wall areas or remove any wet insulation that may grow mold and make our family sick. We did it ALL OURSELVES! In my opinion, this company is a scam who preys on people in a time of crisis and then tries to rape the insurance company or home owners for totally inflated expenses. STAY AWAY from Valley Wide unless you want to get SCREWED!!!

The Valley Wide Restoration Team did an outstanding job on repairing my roof and sheetrock and ceiling in my garage and patio at a reasonable price. I would like to complement one of their employees Marco. He is committed to quality workmanship and did an outstanding job cleaning his work site upon completion of the job. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Issues I had with Valley Wide Restoration.

I had water damage in my bathroom due to a leak in my Tub. I contacted Valley wide to do the repairs. The Gentleman that came out to do the dry out process was very good. The issues started day one with the repair crew. First they cut a wire in my floor then they were going to repair that with wire nuts and electrical tape (not up to code). Then it took 3 times to get the right wood for the floor. Then they put in the tub and surround I had purchased and when I got home it did not fit correctly and they tried to tell me that was normal (it was not, it was the wrong surround for that tub) It overhung the tub by 2” and the holes for the faucet and on/off valve were way off center. Then when I looked at the floor they didn’t remove the toilet flange only cut a big hole around it so it was not sitting on the floor as it should have been. On a closer look one of the bolts that holds the toilet had fallen off when they were putting the floor down and it was trapped between the floor and the floor joist. Then they didn’t even line up the plumbing in the wall with the plumbing in the tub so they were offset by 2”. Then they mangled the vent for the A/C in the floor when they removed the old floor. This they tried to just tape it up which left holes that went right under my floor. Needless to say I had to take 2 ½ days off of work to baby sit this crew as we had no trust they would do the right thing. Even when I went back to work every day I came home there was something else screwed up. They had to do everything 2 to 3 times to get it right only because I pointed out that it was wrong. The last thing was when I got home and they said it done I was cleaning the glass on the shower door and found a 8” scratch in it and that it was installed the backwards so the coating was to the outside of the tub. Later I found out that they had pictures of this when it was in the packaging so they knew it was scratch from the get go and still installed it and said nothing to me. This was the worst case of poor workmanship I have come across. I would not recommend this company for anything unless you can stay home and watch everything that is done. If I would not have been home that first day to catch the wire issue I could have been sitting on a time bomb that my house could have burned down. I have pictures if any one wants to see.

Discovered 2 roof leaks on 8/31/13. Damage to interior ceilings and walls. Called my insurance company and they recommended a restoration company. They gave me a few names and I selected Valleywide Restoration. [redacted] and the whole team were great! I called on Monday to inquire. Rocky came out on Tuesday to complete the inspection and get things scheduled. He also worked with the insurance adjustor. [redacted] and team came on Wednesday to remove the dry wall and start the drying process. The repair work started after the drying process was completed. [redacted] is a drywall expert. All employees were professional and respectful. They answered all my questions and explained the entire process. Also very willing to work around my busy schedule. They employ skilled tradesmen (or have access to them) who I plan to use for other home projects. I would definitely recommend Valleywide to my friends and co- workers. Note: I had already called a roofer before calling my insurance company. He fixed the roof while the interior was being done.

From my initial request for an estimate, Valley Wide's staff demonstrated that they were concerned with assisting me through the claim for reroofing. They showed up as promised, created an extremely detailed estimate, met with the insurance claims representative and efficiently handled all facets of the claim. The tear off and subsequent roofing were performed on schedule by courteous and extremely neat workers.

Because my instance company retained an independent appraiser, this payment process became very dragged out. [redacted] at Valley Wide was patient and courteous in guiding me though the steps required. I have no hesitation in recommending Valley Wide Restoration to any one needing restoration services.

I was referred to Valley Wide Restoration by my insurance agent following a flood in my home due to a bad storm. I was surprised that they were in my home within a couple of hours of calling them. The flooded area was inspected and equipment was set up to dry it out the same day. I received daily visits by their technicians to check on the dry-out. A representative of the company was there to meet with the insurance adjuster and I received daily communication throughout the process keeping me informed of what was going on. When it was time to repair the damages caused by the flooding I could not have asked for a more professional group of repairmen.

You cannot tell we had any damage at all when they were finished. I would recommend this company to everyone for their professional conduct, expertise and friendly staff.
