Review: On May 1St 2013 I went to Mr. [redacted] car dealership with a down payment of $1500.00 for a payment for a 2003 Mitsubishi Gallant. I had taken the vehicle back and forth on several occasions due to issues with the vehicle. And expressed my concerns, In a nutshell first the car is a lemon, the Tire rod and struts were extremely bad and I was instructed it was my responsibility. Which I was not happy but dealt with it. But Now on Sunday June 23,2013 the vehicle was repo due to my issuance elapsing. I was not informed, he spoke with my mother and she is the one who informed me after he denied taking the first payment on 06/15/2013. on 06/15/2013 I called and spoke with Mr. [redacted] and he gave me the run around stating he was with a customer and he would call me back. as of today I still have not heard from him. I have tried to contact him on several occasions, to inquiry about getting the vehicle back. In the contract it states I have 15 days. I am now on day 6. I have not received a phone call or any type of correspondence. Basically he Has scammed me out of $1500.00. I left have left a message on 06/15/2013 06/23/2013 06/26/2013 and also 06/29/2013. I have no Ideal what to do next. But this has caused me to loose out of job opportunities . The car also has problem's with the engine light being on, a problem with the radiator overheating power window was going bad, and the motor for the windshield wiper fluid does not work. Ms. [redacted] purchased, on May 1,2013, a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant. This vehicle was financed through Value Motors, Inc. as a buy-here/ pay here installment loan. One of the contractual obligations of this loan is that the purchaser obtain and maintain full coverage insurance on the vehicle. Ms. [redacted] obtained [redacted] insurance and produced an insurance card to that effect. Therefore, we issued her a license plate and closed the deal.

Within ten (10) days of Ms. [redacted] taking delivery of the vehicle, we were informed by the insurance company that the insurance had been cancelled. Upon speaking with Ms. [redacted], she informed us that she never paid for the insurance because she couldn’t afford it. We asked her to return the vehicle, until such time as she could produce a valid insurance policy. We informed her that we would hold the vehicle on our lot until she could obtain insurance. She ignored that request.

Her installment payment due date was June 15m, 2013. That day passed without any payment being received. Her assertion that she attempted to make a payment and was refused, is totally untrue. She could have mailed a payment or brought it to our office. She did neither.

We had her vehicle picked up on June 23rd, 2013 due to failure to make timely payments and lack of vehicle insurance, resulting in default on her contractual obligations.

Ms. [redacted] made it clear, that she had no intention of maintaining her contractual obligations. We pride ourselves in going the extra mile in trying to work with our clients. We offer to fix any problem related to the check engine light on her vehicle. We had it in our shop to repair an overheating problem, and provided her with a vehicle to drive.

I should note that Ms. [redacted] made no attempt to contact us until we picked up vehicle.
