Value Place Washington DC (Andrews AFB)

Review: Value Place charged me $9.87 for linen exchange that I did not request or utilized. I stayed on-site from 14Mar2014 to 21Mar2014. I called the hotel and talked to [redacted] on 7Apr2014 when Army accounting refused to pay for the charge. [redacted] told me it's their routine policy. I explained that I wanted my government credit card refunded the invalid charge. She tried to do it and could not. I asked her who could help and she gave me the corporate number: 1-800-Valueplace. I explained the number exceeded the normal 10 digit number and I couldn't call it from Afghanistan. She said she could not help any further. I went to the Value Place corporate website and emailed them my complaint and to date have not heard from them nor received any correspondence.Desired Settlement: I just want them to refund the errorneous charge of $9.87. I will not stay in their hotels again, and I will not refer them to anyone because of their lack of customer service and response.
