Review: In extreme rough draft summary I acted in good faith when trusting said merchant as an authorized agent of T-Mobile. The store claimed that they can legally connect my iPhone to T-Mobile and that the quality of service would be the same with prepaid compared to going into the T-Mobile store.The merchant without my knowledge or permission removed the original iPhone [redacted] SIM card and tray and replaced them with one unique to T-Mobile. They never returned to me the [redacted] ones that are my property, not the store's. The mobile service was horrible. No voicemail for days, no texting for days, and constant dropped calls and no service for days. I tolerated this problem for 18 days. I needed to return to the store several times and still the same problems. They never told me to not reset the phone even though T-Mobile told me to reset the phone to get it to work. I found out only weeks after the fact that the merchant does not have the legal right to "unlock" other carrier phones, including the iPhone. Service will not work properly with unlocked phones. The merchant played dumb and then claimed that I had to pay them another $50 to unlock the phone. They claim that they told me not to reset the phone. That is an absolute lie.The merchant practices illegal activities by illegally unlocking cell phones and their contact that unlocks phones is committing a criminal act by providing said service that cell carriers state is illegal. [redacted], T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T all clearly state that it is illegal to unlock phones from their services.I trusted the merchant that assumed that I am stupid and ignorant of my legal rights.In exercise of my legal right to speak... in truth, I have since warned people via the Internet and the community of the merchant's scam that cost me $100 plus all the other problems because of a dishonest and greedy merchant.Desired Settlement: Premised on the circumstances, I want my $50 back for the illegal unlocking of my phone and I want a brand new [redacted] SIM card and tray in the package. I also want them to speak to T-Mobile to issue me a complete refund for lack of service - total cost and loss of service was $50 per the store receipt.I want a total of $100 USD cash in small bills or a money order to ensure I get paid with real money, for I do not trust said merchant that lied, cheated, and stole my money.
