Van Den Loom Rugs

Review: This merchant asked for and took a "good faith" deposit for the purchase of a rug that was neither decided upon nor ordered. The company's refund policy is that deposits are only non-refundable if merchandise is cut to order, special ordered, or allocated from the company's inventory. None of those things apply, since no order was made; we were merely contemplating an order. After the merchant acquired samples of what the rug we were interested in would look like, and it was poor quality, we decided not to make a purchase yet the merchant will not return our "good faith" deposit even though the company policy as to the type of order that is not refundable does not apply.Desired Settlement: Process the refund of my deposit.
