Review: Purchased a pre-owned vehicle 28 days ago and transmission light and engine light came on on 10/**/2014 at approximately 7:00 pm. Steering wheel locked, car started smoking, temperature gauge ran to hot. I immediately pulled the vehicle over and shut it off. When temperature gauge went back to cool, I was able to start the car and bring it home. The next morning I called [redacted] at Vanbro Motors Inc and he sent the [redacted]'s son out to assess the vehicle. The guy stated it was a pulley broke from the engine and it was a quick fix. He stated I had to pay for towing because vehicle could not be driven, however he left and came back to drive the car to the dealership. Did not hear from them for 2 days and went to the dealership. Once I arrived, they said it was the motor and that it would cost $3,000.00 to fix and that I would have to pay for it. At this point they are trying to scam me into paying this along with the $2,000.00 downpayment I gave under a month ago. I am also paying a $369.42 payment for 18 months. Total Sale price is $8,849.56 . Since I just laid out $2,000.00 and monthly payments I am convinced that I should not being paying for a car that was sold to me defective. The vehicle cannot be driven and Vanbro Motors has possession of the vehicle and keys. I need my money back or replacement. I need this resolved because I am 6 months pregnant and I definitely need a car. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I desire a full refund. I will take my business somewhere else.

Review: Dear Revdex.com staff,

When I was purchasing the 2004 Hyundai Sonata GL vehicle I was under the impression that I would have been paying roughly $3600 for it including the license plates, State registration processing fee, sale tax and all. But later on during the processing after he had charged me the $3600, he later stated that he forgot to add the New York State registration fee even though he said he added everything into the bill. The proof, I believe can be found in the receipt, not only this but the sales people also must have lied on the State's inspection application because the tires on the car should have never have passed the Vehicle Safety inspection. The rear tires on the car were completely worn out, not only that but the motor/transmission mount were unexpected costs when I purchased the vehicle. I have gone over to their establishment at least four times about these issues but every time they would say either all deals are final or the vibrations on the vehicle were normal. The vibrations on the vehicle is not normal, after taking the car to several mechanic I was inform that the motor mounts were fractured and needed to be replaced. I still have 57 days before the New York State "implied warranty" expires. I ask that you send a State Inspector to Vanbro Motors Inc. and perform an investigation to see if all tires on the vehicles meet New York State highway safety requirements. Another proof I believe shows that they knew the tires on my vehicle were bad can be shown on the Implied warranty form they gave me. Why would they put down that the tires are not included if the tires were fine to begin with.Desired Settlement: I want Vanbro Motors Inc. to pay for the replacements of all the motor/transmission mounts which can cost $700, and pay $900 for four high brand tires on my 2004 Hyundai Sonata GL I have purchased from them on January **, 2015. I also want a State Inspector to look through their files to see whether they lied on the New York State Inspection requirements or not. I have reasons to believe that they lie on their Vehicle Safety Inspection requirements because the rear tires they put on my vehicle were completely worn out. I also want a $200 refund since the final cost I was expected to pay on the vehicle was $3600 not $3800.

Review: The car that was sold to us was mis represented & illegally falsified inspection. The breaks nearly failed on our way home with six children in it on [redacted]. Being that there was an auto shop there we took it in an, to find out that there was more defects to it then just the breaks. Know we only owned the car for three weeks we took the car to the dealership telling him something was wrong with the breaks. When I brought it to get inspected after a week of purchased he claimed he checked everything out. In the end the vehicle cost us 1,527.90 to fix and get new tires because the tires were bald that's how it was sold to us.Desired Settlement: This company needs to refund us for our repairs and for the over charge on this vehicle. We would like for them to explain how could he sold us an unsafe vehicle and why he passed a false inspections that could of killed six children.
