Review: Good Afternoon, I contacted Vegano Shipping to use their services to shipped a FACTORY REFURBISHED TOP LOADER WASHER MACHINE to the Dominican Republic. I was charged $150.00 for the service. Vegano shipping picked up the washer machine at the store where I bought it for $300. This is located in the Bronx (A1 Appliances [redacted]). The day before Vegano shipping picked it up, the washer was tested in my presence and it was working 100% and kept in outstanding condition. This is the protocol at A1 appliance to test and show to the customer their appliances. After 2 weeks, the washer machine arrived at the Dominican Republic final destination. However, It got there broken. VS delivered 3 pieces instead of one; the washer machine and 2 broken pieces from the inside of the washer machine. these 2 pieces stabilize the drum; therefore, I got a useless washer machine. I contacted VS and they just told me that they are not responsible. They didn't offer me anything at all. I want to get a solution for this matter, I work so hard for my money. I really want my money back, I will take them to small claim court as well. ThanksDesired Settlement: VS should offer me a full refund or to replaced the broken unit. Thanks

Distinguished sirs, as of 05/**/13 [redacted], contacted our offices to request transportation services of a used washer to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to which we had to pick up at the company where he bought it from in the Bronx, that is how we did it and picked up the washer as it was given to us, in that same condition we delivered the washer to Santo Domingo. Vegano Shipping Corp. does not sell washers all it does is transport the machine for the clients. It's the responsibility of the client to verify that the products bought are in good condition, being that is was a used product and most of the time not realizing the conditions they have internally, these devices that may be corroded by rust inside and who buys it does not realize, we delivered said washer in the conditions it was given to Vegano Shipping Corp. and was received as by [redacted] in the Dominican Republic annex copy of the invoice received and signed by the client.

In regards to the invoice dated 6/**/13, Vegano Shipping was in contact with [redacted] to inform her that we went to pick up the washing machine at her residence and we would repair the said damages, as well as reimbursing her the full amount if we were unable to fix it completely. She stated she had already repaired the damages with a cost of $141 of her own expense. We also said we would reimburse her expenses, and she agreed.

Afterwards, [redacted] said that [redacted] told her not to do anything without his authorization. We tried to contact [redacted] to no avail. He never responded to our messages. Finally he answered my call, and I gave him the same answer that I gave [redacted]'s to which he told me that he will think about and will be giving me an answer the following day. He proceed to call me the next day and inform me that I should pay for the washing machine and that he could not return the previous washing machine. Our policy is to repair the article if its something that is fixable, but in order to do so we have to inspect the equipment in order to see if its still repairable and the gentlemen does not let us view the equipment (washing machine). Given the case we have to adhere to our company terms and such terms and conditions and are stated in our invoice. In our invoice there is a section which clearly informs that in case of an equipment not being repairable or is damaged we will replace the equipment.

Note: We spoke to the company we where [redacted] purchase the washing machine and we were told that it was sold for $150.00 furthermore [redacted] says that he was there in person when the washing machine was pick up and that is not true. We have the best interest to collaborate but [redacted] does not wish to do so.
