Veros Credit LLC is a scam
I purchased a vehicle from Veros credit back in 2018. They lied about past due payments. Like many other victims the reality of the pandemic effect me along with my family. I had a 8 month old child. I started falling behind around November of 2019 because I came out of maternity leave, and I only got paid for 1 month of of the 2.5 months I took. With the pandemic my hours were only 30 hrs a week, and since I was already behind on payments it took a deep dive. This company harrasse everyone I know. At one point I didn't have a phone so I borrowed a friend's phone. They have called my friend repeatedly about 8 times a day harassing her. Harassing my mother, brother, my references, and even my employer. This company have to be violating some form of phone harassment policy. Their employees are also pretty rude and incompetent. They are rough and very threatening with their tone. A few of them have actually called on their personal cell phones.

My vehicle was repo at 10:15pm the day before my birthday. Coincidence? I think not just very malicious and evil. I called them a few times after the repo to work something out, the representatives were rude one even disconnect the line. And one told me the company does not do settlements. They kept striking my credit instead, everyone hitting me with latest fees etc etc although the vehicle was already repossess by that time.

Eventually they sold the vehicle at an auction, I assume because a few months went by I didn't hear from them. They then started calling me again out the blue. I answered one of those calls, and they guy was demanding I pay the difference. I told him I'm not paying nothing, I never received any letters stating you sold the fee for X amount. The kept calling for a few months 8-10 times a day . Then nothing. Yesterday my cousins said some guy served legal papers from this company for me. So basically I got served.

I relatives who they harassed will be filing their own lawsuits against this company for the numerous threatening and harassment calls

The only way to resolve this matter is to give me my PAYOFF amount and I will be DONE with this FRAUDULANT COMPANY Regards, [redacted]

Dear Complaint Department: This communication is in response to a RevDex.com complaint filed on March 25, 2015, by Renee [redacted] with the following complaint ID#: [redacted] . The details of this... incident were forwarded to Veros Credit, LLC's Compliance Department where a full and thorough investigation into this matter was carried out. During the life of Ms. [redacted] 's account, Ms. [redacted] used the payment method of ACH which is an electronic service that automatically debits money from the customer's account on a monthly basis to pay for his/her monthly payments due and owing to Veros Credit. On or around February 23, 2015, Veros Credit received a payoff from Ms. [redacted] . Unfortunately, the ACH was scheduled to debit money from Ms. [redacted] 's account on the same day that Veros Credit processed the payoff and Ms. [redacted] 's account was debited. Veros Credit refunded Ms. [redacted] the full amount of money that was debited following her payoff. After Veros Credit's Accounting Department was made aware of this issue it conducted a further investigation into the reason for the continued ACH service on Ms. [redacted] account. Ms. [redacted] 's account was confirmed to be removed from all ACH services and moving forward her account will not be debited by Veros Credit. Please do not hesitate to contact Veros Credit if you have any questions or comments as to the foregoing at (***) ***-***. Thank you for taking the time to contact Veros Credit. Dear Complaint Department,Ms***'s payment dates are not in question; however, the issue is that Ms***'s payments were not sufficient to pay the amount due. Thus, Ms***'s due date could not be advanced until all fees are paid. Pursuant to Ms***'s Retail Installment Sale Contract ("RISC"), she is responsible to pay all fees timely, which includes late charges, or be in default of the contract. Ms*** was in default of her loan and it was reported accurately to the credit reporting agency(ies). A copy of Ms***'s accounting history regarding this account is attached for your review. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, at (***) ***-***.Sincerely, *** ***

Regarding Ms***, the vehicle in question has been repossessed due to non-payment. I am concerned that she continues to feel threatened although there is no evidence that she or her family have been threatened. However, I will have calls stopped to the consumer in order to resolve this issue

Veros Credit denies that the repossession on Ms*** account was done wrongfully. Pursuant to Ms*** RISC, the account will fall into default when a payment is not made on the date agreed to in the contract.
Once an account has defaulted, Veros Credit attempts to contact its customers to offer payment options, such as extensions, temporary payment reductions or due date changes. Ms*** frequently failed to make her payments by the agreed upon due date. Ms*** was more than days past due on her account and Veros Credit assigned her account for repossessionAlthough Ms*** account was assigned for repossession, Veros Credit attempted to contact Ms*** to offer payment options that would enable her to remain with the subject vehicle and lift the repossession order Ms*** refused to contact Veros Credit, yet proceeded to make a payment in the amount of $1,on July 28, via the Veros Credit Payment Portal. The payment was posted to Ms*** account the same day of the transaction. Unfortunately, the amount paid by Ms*** was not sufficient to cover her past due amount and the repossession order remained in place. The vehicle was repossessed on July 31, 2017. It was not until the vehicle was repossessed that Ms*** contacted our office to make payment arrangements and redeem her vehicle. Due to Ms*** financial hardship, she was not able to bring her account current. However, to accommodate Ms***, Veros Credit allowed her to defer several payments which enabled Ms*** to redeem the vehicle. This was the second repossession on Ms*** account. The first repossession occurred on July of 2015. On both occurrences, Veros Credit has accommodated Ms*** by deferring payments that enabled her to redeem the vehicle. Veros Credit strives to provide excellent customer service to its customers and its representatives are prohibited from communicating in a rude or unprofessional manner. We appreciate Ms*** input and we are looking into whether additional customer service training needs to be provided to any of our representatives that were in direct communication with Ms***
