Review: I took my car to this Mr. Tire location for an oil change in late March 2013 when there I asked them to check why my heat was not working. After they did the oil change he notified me that my heat was not working because I needed my radiator replaced and some other minor lines and repairs. I paid $1200 for parts and labor and $100 for a rental car. The same day I got my car back I noticed my heat was not working I took it back the next day. I took it back 3 times after that initial repair for my heat not working. One week later my car stopped working it was jerking and stalling. I could not make it to the North Brunswick location so I took it to the closest one to my home Piscataway; they examined the car and told me the line that Mr. Tire repaired broke and blew my Transmission and that my car was no good. They at first denied it being there fault but finally repaired my car by installing a used/rebuilt transmission. After the transmission was installed that car was riding worse than ever. It kept jerking, making weird noises; it stopped several times while driving. And I took it back each time to have it checked out, the last time I took it there my check engine light was on and my oil light I told him the engine was making weird noises he put it on the computer and told me that it was fine I said to him please drive it and see you can feel the issues a computer wont tell you whats going on check it out. He said the computer says there is nothing wrong and that there is nothing he can do. I then did not know what else to do. And now 1 month after I took it to him telling him Im having an issue with my car it stops. I took it to Pepboys who told me my engine oil is bone dry and it blew my engine. I now have no car and Mr. Tire is saying it was not their fault but yet and still the manager offers me a deal to go half with me on a new engine. I believe ever since they repaired my car an error was made. I have had two reputable mechanic shops check my car and tell me that Mr. Tire has made a huge error on my car and that they should rectify this issue. And now they dont want to take responsibility for their error. From day one after they fixed my car I have had nothing but trouble. I am a single mother with two children my only way of supporting my family is my car which is why I invested in getting it repaired effectively. I feel taken advantage of and I believe these issues are under warranty and need to be taken care of immediatelyDesired Settlement: I would like a refund of repair which is $1200 and a refund for the payment of the rental I had to use while the repair was being done on a error they made. I would also like a replacement of the engine at no cost to me.

Review: I went to this shop to get my oil changed as I had many times in the past without incident. I generally have my tires rotated also which I had at this time also. The employee (Mr. [redacted]) that performed the oil change on my car came in during the process of the tire rotation and told me he had broken the lock for my rims. I told him someone will need to reimburse me because it wasn't damaged when I gave it to him. I was told there was nothing they could do by the manger on duty(Mr. [redacted]) and I had to come back when the manager [redacted] was there. I came back when he was there to discuss the matter and he was rude, unhelpful and said maybe they could help me by paying half of the cost for the lock set. That wasn't acceptable since I didn't give them half broken equipment. I also tried calling the head office which was also no help. The rep took the report and called the store and spoke with them where the salesperson admitted to breaking the lug/lock but still nothing was done. all I am asking for is the $50 plus tax that I paid for the set. The paperwork I was given says they broke it. Any help you could doffer would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: I just want them to reimburse me for what they broke.
