After speaking with *** *** she states that this transaction took place two years agoThe manufactory of this fireplace is no longer doing business at
least this business is not in contact with them any longerThe customer did reach out to their business and was told to try to change the batteries, however when that did not work the business mailed a replacement remote to the customerThey did not receive any information that it was returned unable to be deliveredAt this point the remote would not be covered under warranty, as it is only warranted for one yearThe business does not have any more of that type of remote as it was sold two years ago

Review: I purchase a very expensive electric fireplace from this company and after installing it found the remote controll to be faulty. Called the [redacted] right away. they told me to get new batteries, still didn't work, called again, they told me a few tricks to try to make it work which did not help. Called again, they never returned my call, called again, never returned my call, called again, they answered and said, "sorry but the company that makes the remote control is out of business and there is nothing we can do about it,.

Now I am stuck with an expensive fireplace that does not work.,Desired Settlement: I would like them to research a remote controll company that will provide a replacement. There has to be someone in the world that can provide a remote that works and there has to be a way to make this fireplace useable!
