Review: My father is 81 yrs old , victory auto group sent a voucher by mail for a discount on the purchase of a vehicle . On 11/[redacted]/13 He on his own without discussing it with me went to dealership. They showed him car and talked him in to buying it. It is a 2006 Suzuki forenza with 98000 miles . The sticker on the car was $9,111.00 . They asked him if he had trade in? He had 99 bettle they said they would give him $1,000 for it plus $3,000 for the voucher for a total of $4,000. Then they sold him a warranty for $2,000 which he did not know he purchased until I looked at bill of sale. They also didn't give him $1,000 for the trade in they only give him $500 . The vehicle book value in excellent condition is $4,000 . They over price the car than tell you they are discounting $4,000 off when are selling the car for more than the value not discounting anything. He paid $5,160 plus $2,000 for warranty for a total $7,160. After going over the paper work with him I explained to him what they did . We went to the dealership they said the only thing he could do was to cancel the warranty as far as the price of the car or the trade in theirs nothing they can do the deal was made.Desired Settlement: To refund him $500 for the trade in and another $500 off the price of the car for

a total of$1,000

Review: I have so much to say about Victory Auto group but I will digress on advertising and failure to explain charges. After accepting the nature of their questionable practices even asking for a fee breakdown and hearing that the paperwork might have been lost but was later provided, I went back to the dealership to ask about an additional $2000 that was included on my contract. [redacted], the finance manager explained to me that it was for a warranty/service contract that the bank requires me to have in order to qualify for the loan. I then called the bank to verify this information and they informed me that they DO NOT require this warranty, the dealership basically just calls them and gives them the amount to finance. After going back to [redacted] informing him that we had contacted the bank he agreed that he would get this amount removed from my loan total. Of course at first he assured us that it was just a matter of making a phone call, which after going in another time he said he had made the morning and should be taken care of. Apparently this was not the case, after another visit he sent some paperwork for me to complete and scan in a cancellation form to Allstate (a warranty he never asked me if I wanted in the first place). In the process we also spoke to the manager of the dealership and he assured us that [redacted] would take care of it and provided his number to call if/when it was done. I completed the forms and sent in all the information the next day. I called the cancellation department to make sure they received my request and they informed me that they did but they couldn't cancel something that was never paid for since [redacted] included it in my loan amount. The lady on the phone told me that the dealership is the branch that needs to be handling this issue. IT HAS NOT BEEN DONE as of yet. It has been almost a month and nothing has changed. I have been calling the dealership as well as the manger [redacted]'s phone since then to get any kind of update. [redacted] picked up the first time and informed me to call the dealership to speak with [redacted]. I CAN NEVER get [redacted]. The receptionist always says he has stepped out and he never calls me back. I have left voicemails on [redacted]'s phone and still NOTHING! I need to get this issue resolved! $2000 is alot on top of what I am already paying.Desired Settlement: I would for the very least get my loan amount reduced by $2000 which is the cost of the warranty!

Review: I recently purchased a used 2006 Jeep Commander from this dealership on July **, 2013. On the day I purchased the vehicle I explained to the sales agent that there were some issues with the car. I explained that the driver seat was seat side cover was falling off, the door handles for the driver and passenger side were broken and that the rear bumper was falling off. I was told to bring the vehicle in on Monday July **,2013 where I explained to the service department that during the short time I had the vehicle had more issues in addition to what was initially mentioned. I explained that the driver side headlight was not working, the charging ports were not working, the breaks made a grinding sound, the rotors were damaged, the steering wheel kept pulling to the right when I drove it and that the car shakes as if it is abut to cut out when it is in park and when I break to stop. When I received the car back on that day I was told I needed to return for them to address other problems such as the steering wheel, the driver seat, the handles etc. I was only told that the breaks, the headlight and the charging ports were fixed. I never received a bill or a receipt of any kind showing me that the problems were fixed. When I left I continued to hear the sounds and the charging ports were still not working. I called again on Tuesday July **, 2013 to ask for these issues to be resolved and no one returned my call. I had to show up on Wednesday July **, 2013 in person at the dealership asking for these issues to be resolved. I was then told by the Manager [redacted] that I needed to come Back Thursday August *, 2013 so that he could see what he could do. I explained to him that I cant keep coming back and forth to the Bronx with these problems when I reside in White Plains. I told him I will come in on Saturday August *, 2013 for them to address the issue. He said call him around 12 so that he can make sure he is present. I called him around 12:30 and he told me that the service station was closed, and that I would need to come in on Monday. I explained to him that I work and I do reside in White Plain please make every effort to have these issues resolved when I come in. Again he said he will see what he can do. I return on Monday and again I was told that they checked the headlights, the charging ports, the breaks and the bumper and that these issues were fixed. I did not receive a bill or any receipt document to show me that these issues were done. On the same Monday I was told that I would need to return to leave the car for an overnight for them to se how best they can address the problems. I explained to them that I have my sick grandmother with Heart and pressure problems residing with me in White Plains and I cant afford to be without a car for a day, in addition I would have no way of getting g from White Plains to the Bronx. The manager gain told me that he couldn't help me and that was something I would need to figure out. I suggested that they give me a loaner or a rental to accommodate both me and my sick grandmother and the time he said no. A week later I got a call from the service station that they are going to the rental and I said ok no problem. The service station explained I would have to drop the car off on a Tuesday or Wednesday, it was agreed that this would be the week of August **,2013. The weekend of the August [redacted] I got a flat tire. I attempted to get it changed. While at the tire station the workers could not get the spear tire out as there was no lock in the car to release the spear tire. After hours of manually trying to release the spear they finally did. They but the spear on , however the car would not, a huge grinding sound started to come from the spear. The tire station explained that the spear is not the spear rom the car and that there were several writing son it that said "NOISE". I returned to the dealers service station and explained to them that I don't feel safe in this car and I no longer want the car, as I am afraid of what issues I will have next and how long it would take them to fix the issues. At which point I said I would like to receive my money back or be given a different car.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome at this state is a refund as I am afraid of what issues this car will produce next and I do believe I have given the dealer and its service station more that enough time to fix the problems. I say a refund as I tried to take the option of getting a different car. When I discussed this with a manager I began to get scammed into purchasing a new car. My vehicle is worth $15000 plus. The manager was explaining to me that they will buy the vehicle from me for $8000 and put me in another vehicle to be financed. I am already financing $7000 plus on the vehicle I currently have so for me I will now have to pay for two separate vehicle. I was not being accommodated in the situation. I did not ask to be switched into a different vehicle because I don't like it. I asked to be given a different vehicle because of the many problems I am having with the vehicle and because of how ,long it has taken them to address the issues that up until this day has not been addressed.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

I would first note that there was no mention of gas mileage issues as my concern when the Business first submitted a response. That should have been noted initially; however there was no mention of that till this response. As the dealer initially acknowledged in their first response I did have a car that was giving me problems and that was the main underlining concern. Again here in this response from the business they have stated that I have problems with the car that they were willing to address. However, once they realized they were uncertain of how long it would take them to fix the problem and I explained I could not be without a car; they began to ignore me as they explained they had to take a loss from accepting only $2000 for the Honda Civic. Therefore there is no left over money for them to put me in a rental, so they issue for them was that they did not want to incur an expense from providing me with a rental. This too is my main concern as I cannot afford to miss days from work with no pay, risk course failures because of absences with school, pay for additional transportation from One County to another, and paying for transportation separately for my grandmother.

Review: I went to Bronx Cars, spoke with a salesman by the name of [redacted]. Made a $100 deposit by debit card, which he had said was toward purchasing my car when a bank approved a good rate; which afterward he claimed was a deposit to "make sure I came back". Several hours later he was pushing for me to take the car home & he would figure out the numbers the following day. Bottom line is he never listened to me, was adamant that I take a car home, and did not care for my preferences, just about making money. The following morning I called & politely let him know I would not be buying my car through him. He got very upset, & spoke very aggressively towards me. I then spoke to the [redacted] name [redacted] reguarding my refund. For 10 business days they claimed they refunded my money, this is a month later & I still don't have my money back. I have called numerous times, & each time [redacted] tells me " I'm seeing that it has been processed...". Legally I didn't not buy my car through them, & am to be refunded my money. & now the [redacted] is dodging my calls.Desired Settlement: I want my $100 deposit back.

Review: PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS DEALER, FALSE AND DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING....DO NOT TRUST>>>>

After seeing a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing advertised in several internet auto sale posts, I decided to go see it. The advertised price was $27,877 for a 2013 Audi q7. I was told the first day that the price was $27,877 and they would not accept anything lower as that was the best price. I decided to return a different day for a test drive. I test drove the vehicle and was ready to buy. I was shown a purchase document that stated the price as $27,877 and approx. $2900 added plus a document fee, another approx. $500 minus $1000 dealer discount. Totaling over $30k to start, not including tax. I asked what was the $2900 addition. I was told that this was in the fine print. The fine print stated 10% down payment, it did not state that this would be in addition to the sale price. First of all, I should have been told about the addition added $2900 the first day. The dealer refused to sell the vehicle at the advertised price, even when I said that I would purchase at the sale price and was willing to add the $500 document fee. This dealer falsely advertises prices and adds additional pricing masked in what they call the fine print. This was a waste of 2 days and 6 hours of my time. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS DEALER, FALSE AND DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING....DO NOT TRUST>>>>Desired Settlement: PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS DEALER, FALSE AND DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING....DO NOT TRUST>>>>

MUST ADVERTISE AND BE HELD TO THE ADVERTISEMENT.

Review: I Brought a use 2013 Nissan Altima from victory Auto Group Llc dealership located on [redacted]###-###-####. Sincerely,

Review: I actually went into their Larchmont store on 12/** & was going to purchase a vehicle they took a $7,000 deposit from me from my debit card. I later changed my mind through out the transaction of purchasing the car & they said they would credit my account Monday 12/**/15. I changed my mind because they had a TON of hidden fees including a 10% extra charge that was not included in the price of the vehicle. Also if I wanted to do my financing with a different company than they provided the price of the vehicle would be 27,000 instead of 22,000. Today is 12/**/2015 & they still have not refunded my money & are telling me they have 30 days that they can hold it for, and they can not refund my money unless I come back there with my card to swipe. How can you hold some ones money when they didn't even receive services or goods?? To me it feels like they are stealing my money.Desired Settlement: I'd like a refund and an investigation on how they are doing business, I'm not sure on the lending laws and advertising in NY but in CT this would not be legal.
