I apologize for taking so long to respond to your letter, but I have been out of town for days and just opened your letter yesterdayI have talked to my salesperson and the used car manager concerning our customer's complaint of
having inquiries on their credit reportWe (Frank *V***, Inc.) did run their credit once so we would know to which banks we should send their credit applicationAs you may know not all banks accept all credit applications, as some banks specialize in certain credit areasWe sent their credit application to five banks (all at the same time)Our customer received the best rate available from the banks that approved thenSo, that is of the inquiriesI don't know where the other three inquiries originated.I understand our customer would like the inquiries removed, but I don't know if that can be doneI would recommend our customer contact the individual credit companies directlySincerely,Steve V

Ms. [redacted]'s concern has been handled and was probably corrected by the time you received her complaint. Unfortunately, the claim was set up as a receivable in Ms. [redacted]'s name and not in the name of the warranty company. We have since corrected our mistake.
Thank you for you...

Review: At the end of the month of June in 2013, I went to their dealer to inquire about the pricing on a custom vehicle that I wanted to order, which was a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. I had already ordered the vehicle from another dealer in the area, but I found out through a online inquiry that their pricing was more aggressive and that I could save about $1500 from the deal I already had made. I had to make a decision whether to break my deal with the previous dealer I was working with, or to try to make them meet the new price from Videon. In the end, I broke my deal with the other dealer, got my deposit back right away, and then re-ordered the vehicle through Videon. After about a month and a half, I decided that the SRT might not be the right vehicle for me, and I let the dealer know that I had a change of heart and would not be purchasing the vehicle. They told me alright. When it came to trying to get my deposit back, things changed though. I did not expect them to be happy about the situation, but when I spoke with my salesman [redacted], he was aggressive with me on the phone and told me I would have to wait until the vehicle comes in and eventually sells. I called back another time and spoke to the owner, and he told me the same thing with the same demeanor. I know that they said the deposit was non-refundable when I ordered the vehicle, but after talking to several people close to me, including one that owns a used car dealer in the area and another who owns dealers all across the country, I was told that by Pennsylvania law they cannot keep my deposit because I did not take delivery of the car and I should not have to wait that long to receive the refund but it should be immediate. I know it could be months until they sell that car, and I think it is unacceptable that I need to wait that long for my money back. The vehicle is still in the "scheduled for production" stage with Jeep, and the dealer already changed the specs for how it is going to be built from what I had specified in my order (interior color, exterior color, wheels, and tire were all changed two days after I informed them I would not be purchasing the vehicle). I have no connection to this vehicle anymore and think its unacceptable to wait what could be up to a year or even more (the vehicle hasn't began to be built yet, and then the time for them to sell it) to get my deposit back. This seems like my only way to get my message across to them and move this situation forward. Please help Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for my $1000 deposit and it should be now and not when they receive the vehicle and eventually sell it.

Dear **. [redacted],

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the above complaint.

The customer ordered a “specialty vehicle” worth over $67,000. This is not the type of vehicle we order in great quantities nor is it a vehicle we like to have in stock a long time. When our customers order a specialty vehicle, we always ask for a deposit and state on the buyers order the deposit in non-refundable. This ensures the customer is serious about the purchase of the vehicle. The customer who filed the complaint above did sign the buyers order acknowledging the security deposit was non-refundable.

I take exception with the customer stating my salesperson and my demeanor was “aggressive”. We were very polite, professional and factual in explaining to the customer that he signed acknowledging the deposit was non-refundable. When the vehicle is sold we will gladly refund the customers deposit.

Please contact me if you would like to discuss the situation any further.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Review: [redacted]

Review: My name is [redacted]. I would like to report an issue that I am experiencing with Videon Dodge in Newtown Square, PA. Below is a chronology of this issue:

I purchased a new [redacted] on 4/23/14. At this time my fiancee was employed by the dealership. The car is registered with [redacted] (fiancee) as co-owner.

10/3/14: Paid Videon Dodge $205.11 for a tire - this new tire had a warranty. Shortly after the installation (same day) we had to bring the car back because the tire was damaged. Another tire was ordered and replaced (because of the warranty).

11/12/14: Mike M[redacted] (General Manager) left Videon Dodge. Jason K[redacted] (Sales Associate) was fired shortly following this because of his association with Mike M[redacted]. [redacted] had association with both Mike and Jason.

[redacted] began being stripped of his responsibilities including being relieved of administrative access to systems for which he was responsible in supporting. This made him unable to do his job. [redacted] noticed that Jim B[redacted] (Videon Employee) was using his phone to video tape him ([redacted]) as he worked. When [redacted] brought this to Steve V[redacted]'s (owner) attention, he stated that Jim was protecting him. [redacted] then realized that he had been registered as a terminated employee in many of Videon's automated systems.

11/26/14: [redacted] resigned from Videon Dodge due to the hostile work environment. Steve V[redacted] responded that [redacted] was over reacting.

12/5/14: We received invoice dated 11/30/14 for $159.00 from Videon Dodge. [redacted] called Bob S[redacted] (Service Dept). This was an invoice for the replaced tire that was under warranty. Videon had received the claim and authorization number from [redacted] and told [redacted] not to worry about it, it was paid for and taken care of by the warranty - this made sense.

1/5/15: Another invoice is received for $159 dated 12/30/14. [redacted] called again and was told that only Matt V[redacted] (Owner's son) could discuss this matter with him. He was transferred to Matt who stated that his father (Steve V[redacted]/Owner) would be sending him a personal email with some questions.

Once these questions were answered, the bill would "disappear".

I then called because the bill is in my name and was I told by Matt V[redacted] that this was a "give and take situation" and once they got their answers it would be resolved.

I would like to also add at this point that [redacted] has not received his vacation pay that was earned from him employment. Therefore, does not feel compelled to answer questions considering the situation.

I'd also like to point out that Videon received payment for this tire from the warranty arrangement.

In my opinion I am being harassed and [redacted] has been cheated. I realize they are two separate issues but I am asking for help in resolving the invoice issue in that $159 is not owed by me or [redacted] since this was a warranty situation.

Please let me know what avenues you feel we should explore.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter.Desired Settlement: I simply want this bill to be taken care of. I do not feel that I should continue to receive a bill that has already been paid for.

See attached document.

ATTENTION: Here is my experience with this dealership.
Bought a certified pre-owned 2012 Dodge Challenger in Aug '15. Was there from 9AM, one of the first customers of the day, completed deal/paperwork 3PM, UNBELIEVABLE! Asked salesman Nick if all Dodge technical bulletins from Dodge had been performed/corrected. I live in N[redacted] DE. Within 2 weeks the alternator went which was a serious tech bulletin that was not performed by them which I believe had a possibility of causing fire. I took it to the local dealer to get it fixed since I didn't trust Videon since they had LIED to me. They charged a large amount to do the title & registration which then took to the last day paper tag was running out and had to fed ex it to me. When looking for the second key a couple weeks ago and found it in the console but it did not have the mechanical key in it. I called Videon, spoke to used car manager, he said it was too long but would check with salesman, didn't get back to me. After 3 days I called and spoke to owner, he said he would talk to him and someone would get back to me. 2 days later used car manager called and said it had been too long and it was my problem.
I recommend not using this dealer for any reason! You have been warned.
