Purchased a home May 2015. We had 4 windows that had bad weather stripping that contributed to the dual pane failing. Our realtor agreed to pay for new windows to be installed. Viking glass replaced the window an re-installed the worn defective weather stripping. Some places had two inch gaps of missing weather stripping. I called them an owner told me they would have recommended replacing the weather stripping if it was needed. I confronted them with the gaps. They then told me it would not effect the life of the window. They insisted it was a finished product. I learned they did not replace because the 24 year old windows weather stripping was hard to find. They could have advised us but instead they say the missing weather stripping would no affect the glass long term. It should be noted the only glass that needed to be replaced was the windows with bad weather stripping.
