Review: I purchased a 2000 Ford E150 Cargo Van from [redacted] on August 7th, 2013 and have been having nothing but problems with the vehicle and his dealership staff. The check engine light lit up as I was driving the vehicle home and after getting it diagnosed by a mechanic friend of mine he pulled up two codes for an Oxygen Sensor and a Knock Sensor indicating a problem with the fuel system. Not 100 miles later the vehicle completely died and would not start or run. I had to have it towed to the closest mechanic who diagnosed the problem as a dead Fuel Pump and a bad Oxygen Sensor. The total cost of the towing, diagnosis, and repairs was over $1,200 and this is all with less than 300 miles on the vehicle since purchase. I have been in communication with [redacted] ever since the problems began and he has done nothing but blow me off, saying that he had no knowledge of any problems and the vehicle was sold as is. He is unwilling to do anything to work with me to reimburse part of the cost of towing, diagnosis and repairs. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your used car because this guy and his employees are complete scam artists who are just looking to make a buck cleaning up junker vehicles and selling them full price.

I would like to be reimbursed for at least part of the cost of towing, diagnosis, and repairs. The cost to diagnose the problem and replace the faulty fuel pump came to $923.63 and the owner of Village Auto Sales, [redacted] has not offered to reimburse me for any of the costs, stating that the vehicle was sold 'as is' and claiming that he is not responsible for any of the problems.
