Review: We received a written contract to complete work at our house. My husband gave Vince George a deposit for the job. Vince came back a couple of days in the afternoon and did some work, he asked my husband for more money, which my husband gave him. No more work was done. After numerous phone calls and being told he'd finish the job "tomorrow", someone that worked for him showed up almost a week later, used my husband's tools and did some work but ran out of materials. Vince asked him for more money for materials, my husband gave it to him again and we literally had to hound him to get some kind of answer. We were told once again that "tomorrow" the job would be complete. Over a week later, Vince shows up with used materials that wasn't even going to do a 1/4 of what needed to be done and he left. We have not heard anything since then. We have a half finished shed in our yard and a pile of trash in our driveway that is a hazard, again we were told that would be removed "tomorrow". That was 3 weeks ago. I'd like this resolved and Vince is not acknowledging us.Desired Settlement: I'd like the job finished or our money returned. Either is fine.

Review: I am re-addressing a previously filed complaint to which I received a notice that business did not respond to complaint, as I am not surprised due to Mr. George's disorganization and unethical business practice. He actually told me he throws all his mail and bills l in his kitchen cabinets.He has now totally abandoned my unfinished contracted work of hardwood installation, after dealing with his lies and failure to arrive to work innumerable times for the past 5 months. Please check similar reports on builders zoom. His illegal and irreputable behavior patterns can be verified by his local police chief, [redacted], [redacted] PD, PA. I was also informed by Dectective [redacted] of [redacted] PD that **. [redacted] is scheduled for a hearing for criminal charges in January, 2014.Desired Settlement: I would like most of my money back from Mr. [redacted] due to the major inconvenience he has caused me for this unacceptable length of time, the amount of money I will still need to pay out to complete the work, and for the loss of time I have taken from work to accomodate the numerous times I have taken off work and left work early to wait for Mr. [redacted] not to show up. I have paid him close to $5000, and he has 3 unfinished jobs at my house and has left me with potentially harmful living conditions.

I feel he needs to be shut down, as to not continue to do this to other victims in the future. As a health care professional, I can attest that Mr. [redacted] has a serious problem to account for his irratic and bizzare behavior.

Review: Vincent D. George did not complete repairs as per agreed work order. We are due $575 worth in repair and $365 good faith tip given to Mr. George to complete the work (We were referred to him from a family friend of George's so we never expected him to never come back and complete the work or we wouldn't have given him a tip! )We called Mr. George on his many phone numbers, spoke to him some times, was lied to most about when he'd come finish the work. After 6 months of him not coming back we realized he was not coming back and he essentially stole our money. Sad that a contractor can be so negligent with work, especially when referred to from a family friend (note: his family friend couldn't get him to finish the work for us either)!Desired Settlement: We would like $940 refunded ($575 in repairs, $365 good faith tip )
