Review: To Whom it May Concern, I went to Vinson Training Institute on May **, 2013 to talk with [redacted] in a mentoring capacity. I was out of work and on unemployment. I was not looking for additional training since I'd already taken typing and word processing training with her in the nineties through Holt Computer Training. On May **, 2013 I paid in full and up front for additional training and was made to feel like I was getting a discount by doing so. I later realized that the price listed on the hard copy form I was presented with was more than that listed on the website so the price I paid was actually the price already advertised on the website. On May **, 2013 after mutually agreeing I was beyond additional word processing training at Vinson Training Institute after already completing training in the nineties with Holt Computer Training and after 15+ years in the corporate world, we agreed on a refund and I did not return to their offices. I followed up with [redacted] numerous times via phone and email and have now been waiting over three months for a refund. My last attempt to contact [redacted] was on August **, 2013. I called her directly and she said she would call me back in 10 minutes but she did not. I then followed up with an email detailing the above timeline after consulting a lawyer and Bcc'd the confidential law office. In that email, we asked for a date certain for the refund. Though she responded, no date certain was given and there has been no communication since. Any help would be much appreciated as I'm still out of work, on unemployment and have left the charges on my credit card which accrues interest each month. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to refund the mutually agreed upon amount of $2,048.40. I will consider the interest charges my responsibility.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Vinson Training Institute regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

On 9/**/13, I received the following text message on my personal cell phone from the business owner: "Hey [redacted], I am going to the Brooklyn next Wednesday can we meet?" I did not respond as I was not comfortable meeting.

There was no further communication on either side.

I have yet to receive any refunded money from the business owner.
