Vintage Audio Workshop Reviews (1)

Review: I have had work done on several vintage stereo with this gent. After fronting him $150 for parts and dropping off my 170dc amp on Oct 17 2014, he has refused to repair unit and release to me after more then 7 months. He had also repaired a marantz 2270 last year that was dead on arrival the first time I got it back after paying $220 and waiting months. I brought it back to him, he had it several more months. I finally got it back only to have it blow out and smoke on the 2nd day of having it. It is still dead 16 months after first having him work on it.Desired Settlement: In his emails to me he had said that he had flamed the amp out while attempting to repair it thus making it useless to me. I had paid $190 for the amp and had fronted him $150 to fix same. I want $340 and he can keep the amp he destroyed. In addition I want the $220 I paid him to repair the 2270 that he screwed up.So I want the $560 that he owes for work not rendered plus the original parts he had removed from amp along with a box of new parts valued at about $60 that I had given him to recap.
