In a time of technology, and as a business owner myself, it's disappointing for a business to be unwilling to correspond via e-mail at all, especially when a medical issue prevents someone from being able to use a phoneIt also makes me think they are unwilling to put quotes in writing, which is sketchy

Review: We sent our Omnichord (instrument) to Virgin Musical Instruments in February 2013 to be repaired. We hadn't received our instrument back from VMI by April. We were concerned and started calling the company to see what was going on. We were told that it was almost fixed and would be shipped. This happened multiple times before the instrument was shipped back out to us. We finally received our instrument back on April 22. Our instrument is still broken. We have tried to contact the company to get them to fix it and no one will return our calls.Desired Settlement: We would like for them to take the instrument back and fix it. If they don't want to do that then we would like our money back.

Response:

We received [redacted]'s Omnichord which is over 20

years old.

We did not have the necessary parts on hand for the

repair and needed to order additional items from overseas.

It took extra time to receive these parts as they are not

readily available. Even with this

additional charge to get these overseas items we did not charge anymore than

the initially agreed upon repair price of

$85 (which included return shipping).

The unit was repaired and shipped back to [redacted].

After receiving the unit back he complained of a

different problem that may have happened in shipping back to the customer.

We agreed immediately upon hearing of this new problem

that we pick the Omnichord up at VMI's expanse and repair it and return it back

to the customer immediately.

We have issued the pick up for its return.
