I called and spoke with [redacted] from the businessHe said he is willing to come out to the home tomorrow with weather permitting and remove the leaves from the ditch and the yard for the customerHe said all he wants to do is make sure this project is resolved

I reject this proposal because they entire lawn is covered in leavesAt this point he has only blown the leaves into a few piles and out of my flower bedsNO leaves have been removed from the propertyTo say that only a small part of the job remains is a blatant lieI would prefer a full refund but if he insists on finishing the job, he may service the entire yard on TuesdayIf all of the leaves have not been removed I will submit photos to the Revdex.com as proofAdditionally Matthew told me his wheel was repaired on Dec and that he would be out to my property the next day I have this conversation saved in text messages as proof!

Review: Virginia Curb Appeal is a small local lawn care service. I am renting a home and my landlords use this business to care for the lawn during the summer. I contacted the owner of the business, Matthew Farley, and asked for his leaf removal service. This was an extra service that I paid for myself. He told me that he would be able to remove the leaves on November 25th. He did arrive on that day and blew the leaves in a few piles around the yard. He said he could not finish the job completely because one of his employees had called out sick. He said that the cost would be $120 and that he would return the next day to finish the job. I paid him this fee in advance via check, which he has cashed. When he failed to return, I next contacted him on Nov 29th. He apologized for not finishing the work, saying the weather had been bad and that the Thanksgiving holiday had prevented him from doing so. He said he would complete the job on Dec 1. On that day he informed me that his trailer tire went flat and that it would have to be changed. He said he would "keep me in the loop" about when he could return. I contacted him again on Dec 7 and asked him if he could please finish the job. He again apologized, saying that the rim of the wheel on the trailer had been bent and he had to have it straightened out which is why I hadn't heard from him. He said he would return the next day but never did. Today I called him and he hung up on me. I sent him a text message saying that I wanted a refund and he never replied.Of note, I have tried to find the business license of Virginia Curb Appeal and have been unable to locate it.Desired Settlement: $120
