for and that it had not been met.Taking this information into consideration, on November 14th which was the day of surgery, we collected a payment and patient paid $675.00. Of this amount, $77.86 was applied to the balance from her previous visit dated October 24, 2014.Since we had confirmed with her insurance company and her deductible had not been met, we collected the payment upfront. It is true that her account does have a credit of $175,01 which is due to her and a check should have been issued to the patient as soon as her claim was processed by her insurance company,I am taking this upon myself, issuing a check and putting it in the mail immediately. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me at ###-###-####. Thank you very much,

Review: I had foot surgery on November 14, 2013. with dr. Rudolp A[redacted]. His office did not allow me to go into surgery without paying what they thought was my deductible. I told them that the sum might not be accurate, but they said that was the figure they received from the insurance, and unless I pay it, I cannot get service. I paid $675 upfront. Once my insurance processed the claim, it turned out only $225 was supposed to go to my portion of the deductible. Meanwhile every time I would visit another dr's office I would pay towards my real deductible. So the office of Dr A[redacted] kept my money, $450, and I had to pay this sum over again to the various dr's offices I visited. I called them in January and asked them to refund me. They said that as soon as they would hear from my insurance they would do that. I called again two months later, and they said that they did not even remember my previous call, but they would work on it. I called again, and by that time, maybe March, they told me that a good portion of the $450 went towards other office visits in the practice. They billed me twice for a surgery shoe, I had to straighten that up with them, too. At the end of the conversation we figured that they owed me $175, money they had kept since November 14, 2013. I asked them to send me a check, and they assured me they would do that. All these calls have been between me and the billing department. In May 2014 I called the office and left a voice mail for the nurse, Monique, to contact the billing department, and have my check sent to me. I have not heard from them to this day, July 10, 2014, and I have not received a refund for the money they kept all this time, since November 14, 2013. Pleas help me get my money back, and please let other people know of the practices this office has, so that they do not get trapped in it, too.Desired Settlement: I would like to please get my refund, with interest, a letter of apology from the doctor, and I would like this complaint published, so that other people do not go through the same situation.

I would like for the business not to charge people in advance, and then keep their money.

Thank you.
