I tried to sign up at [redacted] but somehow ended up at the Virginia Singles site instead I filled out the questionnaire at that site and the next morning was called by one of their representatives who scheduled me for a lengthy meeting with one of their "Gatekeepers" (i.e., salesmen)The upshot of this meeting was that Virginia Singles promised to email me over a period of time the names and telephone numbers of eight compatible women who lived in my area at a cost for 6,dollars, or approximately $per contact For another 3,dollars you could get additional information on your date before meeting them In no case, however, would Virginia Singles give supply you with a photograph of your prospective dateThe gatekeeper tried to rush me into a commitment and when I balked at the price and asked for time to think about it, her friendly demeanor instantly changed She tried to pressure me to write her a check immediately, and when I refused she accused me of telling her I was ready to start dating (which I am) but was now backing out In addition, she accused me of being vain and putting too much emphasis on looks In short, she turned on me the moment she saw she was losing a saleThe long and the short of it is, do you want to pay strangers huge sums of money to set you up on blind dates with no guarantee, short of verbal promises, that the people they set you up with will meet your expectations? Some people might be willing to take that risk and some might get lucky and find their perfect mate I was not willing to take the risk--not at that price anywayBy the way, before disclosing the cost, the gatekeeper insisted on getting my social security number and copies of my drivers license and two other forms of identification--in my case, credit cards--for the purpose of doing a background check on me Needless to say, this opens the door for I.Dtheft I recommend not giving them any I.Duntil you ready to sign the contract with them--and maybe not even then

is with deep dissatisfaction that I am emailing todayI came to Virginia Singles on May 12, (weeks ago) for information regarding the programs that your company offers and was promised, on many occasions, that I was the “ideal client” and I was “what every one of our gentlemen are looking for in a potential partner”I was also told things like “ we have hundreds of men that meet all of your requirements” and “you will be matched very quickly”I feel that I was deceived by the lady (***) that I worked with in that she was telling me everything that I wanted to hear when she realized I was really not that interested in moving forward with the programShe kept telling me repeatedly that “I would regret it if I didn’t go with the program because they (Virginia Singles) had the most vast network of gentlemen in the area”I was skeptical and she promised me repeatedly that I was “guaranteed to find the one with Virginia Singles” I reluctantly filled out the paperwork after being fed all of the “promises” that I would be introduced to my prince-charming within a few short days or “maybe a week or two since the Memorial Day Holiday was approaching” Since that day I have only received three phone calls regarding matches -The first (two weeks into the program) being about a man that did not fit the religious or ethnic background that I had expressed were very important, and he was in the top end of my age rangeI again expressed my desire to be matched to a “Tall, Dark, and Handsome” individual that was closer to my age range, was a [redacted] , and was Caucasian (as I expressed both in my paperwork as well as my profile)-The second call (about a week after the first) was about a man that was much older than I was and was a strict veganI felt slighted by this conversation since it seemed that the lady I was speaking to hadn’t read the profile notes before calling meI am not a vegan, and do not wish to be as strict as this individual was about his life choices-The third and final phone call I received was two weeks ago about an individual who again, was at the top end of my age range and did not meet the job requirements I needed to ensure that I was able to spend time with my children, and was religious but not [redacted] I again expressed my concerns as well as the concern that his children were older and the response I received from VS was that he was “unavailable” (via email) I have had no communication from VS since the 17th of June, nearly three weeks agoAt this point I wish to dissolve my contract with Virginia Singles and be refunded my program fee of $5,I have been very patient with this process and feel like I was tricked into becoming a part of company that has not delivered on their end of the contractIf there has been this much difficulty in finding a close first-match, I have very little faith that there will be subsequent matches that will be more fittingI would like a response to this email within hours and will be reporting my situation to the Revdex.com by noon tomorrow (7/8/2015) following the outcome of said response Regards, [redacted] This message was sent at 11:am and I requested to hear from the business within hours (one business day) as is highlighted and underlined in the above messageVirginia Singles hours are 12-8pm and my complaint was not acknowledged within that time frameAt 1:pm (two hours into the next business day) when I still hadn't heard from a representative I filed a complaint with the Revdex.comI did not receive a phone call acknowledging my complaint until 4:02pm 7/and was asked to return the call by SamanthaI work, and have two small children so I returned the phone call at 7:am on 7/9, leaving a messageI did not receive a call back, so I called again that afternoon at 4:20pmWhen the phone was answered, I was asked who I was and who I needed to speak to and I am almost certain that the person I needed to speak to answered my call and took a message telling me that I would receive a return call that eveningI did not receive a call, again This morning, 7/10, I again emailed Virginia Singles through my client portal letting them know I had attempted to call them twice and to please call me between the hours of and 6pm today and have yet to receive a call backI did as the contract indicated and reached out to Virginia Singles before going to another entity to assist in resolving the problemI have received no return correspondence and am insulted that Samantha answered the phone yesterday afternoon and told me that no one was available to speak with me at the timeI am still seeking a resolution to this issue and believe that a refund is warranted as I have followed the outline of my contract with Virginia Singles and they haven't found the time to respond, or to have a Client Supervisor contact meI appreciate that finding the right person can take time, but as a paying customer, I expect to get what I'm looking for not have to "think outside the box" for something that I know will not mesh with my life-style or beliefsSo, yes, I declined the three individuals because I was promised matches in all facets of compatibility not a "just try it and maybe it will work out" whimI am legally separated as I've tried that route once...I came to Virginia Singles because they promised me that there would be a return on that investmentNow they won't even contact me back I have included screen shots of the time stamps of the incoming and outgoing call times to VS with the date and duration of the callsI have also included a screen shot of the email that I sent them at 9:20am this morning (all are referenced above)I would appreciate them reaching out to me directly so that we can come to a resolution Thanks you, [redacted]

Since the initial meeting, I have been provided five names, one of which was actually a gentleman who met my criteriaHowever, I do not believe he was fttall as he stated and we went out twice but there was no chemistry So since I have had one good date, I am asking for the refund to be prorated 7/since the deal was dates for $The other gentlemen did not meet my criteria One was shorter than I requested, one still had children in the home, one was extremely rude, one was a technician although I have asked to be matched with professionals Every step of the way, I have to actually feel like I am hounding the Virginia Singles employees who say things to me like, we are helping other clients, we can't look for a match for you when we are on the phone I was the one who had to point out the fact that the matches were not to my criteria and I don't really know what I am paying them for at this point The whole debacle has caused me nothing but stress I want my money back They obviously do not have the product that they promised - reliable, honest, Christian gentle men in my age group and with similar lifestyles and paychecks They made promises they can't keep They lied to me and I want a refund They claim it can take up to eight weeks to make a match - that is because they do not have the matches in their inventory In 2014, there are databases that can make matches in moments....it should take very little manual intervention to create a match, certainly not several weeks Please let me know my next steps to pursue this farther Regards, [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:We have received Ms***’s complaint and would like to address some important information.Please note that we will only match our clients with those who are most mutually compatible with them, according to their profile informationSome clients receive matches frequently while others may wait some time in between referralsIt all depends on various factors – the #factor being compatibilityWe will not provide a match just for the sake of doing soThis is what separates us from a typical dating serviceWe are an elite matchmaking firm who specializes in finding lasting relationships for our clientsWe have our clients’ best interests at heart and only strive for the success of each and every one of our clients.Yes, Ms [redacted] joined Virginia Singles in July, Ms [redacted] purchased matches and months of hold time if neededWe had several matches for Ms***, but she did not connect with them all for one reason or anotherMatch #1– Ms [redacted] spoke with her match over the phone for a period of time and decided he was not for herAt some point during the conversation, Ms [redacted] told the gentleman that she was in a relationshipMs [redacted] also seems to be concerned that this man allegedly had matches prior to her, but this was not the caseAlso, we are not at liberty to discuss other clients or their programs, due to privacy reasonsEveryone has their own experience and some people have to meet a few matches in order to find someone they connect withIt is a process for everyone We continued our search on behalf of Ms***We spoke or emailed Ms [redacted] on several occasions to keep her updated on our searches and possible matchesMatch #– Ms [redacted] declined meeting this man after she first stated she would “give him a chance”We spoke with her prior to setting up the match and she agreed to meet this gentlemanHowever, Ms [redacted] did not end up meeting him and responded in her feedback that he was “too old” for herMatch # have provided everything which was promised during her interview and according to her contract and our Rules and Regulations Ms [redacted] has already received matches with gentlemen in the course of less than monthsUpon receipt of this complaint, we reached out to Ms [redacted] to discuss the situationHowever, she was unreceptive to our desire for a resolution and stated that she would see what happens with the Revdex.com case Ms [redacted] purchased a program which consists of matches/referrals, including the services that are involved in the process of providing these referralsMs [redacted] ’s contract clearly states that her fee is non-refundableWe would like to work with Ms [redacted] and provide our services as contracted Ms [redacted] joined our services on 8/18/She had an extensive interview in our office with a Relationship SpecialistThey discussed Ms [redacted] ’s past relationships, what she is looking for in a partner, etcWe presented her with various package options for our different programsFor her fee, she not only receives matches, but also receives services such as the creation of her profile, background check, communication (e-mails, phone calls), maintenance of her account, recruiting men on her behalf, conducting searches for matches on her behalf by our matchmakers, etcThere are various staff members who work on Ms [redacted] ’s behalf on a daily basisThere is much work and time that goes into each individual client's program After Ms [redacted] left our office, we immediately began working for her and providing our servicesWe entered her information into our system, created her profile, conducted her national background check, etcOnce Ms [redacted] completed her online profile and we finished everything on our end, we were able to activate her accountWe did so on 8/We notify our clients that it can take up to weeks to receive the first matchHowever, we were able to find Ms [redacted] ’s first match much sooner than that, on 8/We also had another gentleman that we wanted her to meet, so we matched her with another man on 8/as wellWe also matched her with men on 9/3, 9/and 10/All of the men we have matched Ms [redacted] with have been compatible with her, according to their profilesWe also explain to our clients that we will search on their behalf on a monthly basis for matchesMs [redacted] has been very fortunate to receive compatible matches in such a short period of time We use preferences as a guideline for matching and try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking forWe provided Ms [redacted] with a Rules and Regulations pamphlet upon joining our servicesShe also agreed to having reviewed these Regulations under paragraph #in her contract In the Regulations, under paragraph #it states: "Compatibility is very subjective and that we will send you referrals we deem, in our sole and absolute discretion as "likely most mutually compatible" as indicated in your singles dataThe final determination to meet a referral is yours and yours aloneYou understand and agree that we will supply you referrals on an as available basisBecause we try to send compatible referrals, you understand and agree that there is no way for us to predict the frequency and time frame of each referralHowever, we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis, but we will only match you with others that we feel you are compatible withYou further understand that no two people are generally perfectly compatible and agree that we will use our best judgment in providing referrals that most nearly match your requirements." ***As you can see, we do our best to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for, but not all criteria will match 100%We want to give our clients every possible opportunity to meet someone specialAlso, under paragraph #in our Regulations it states: "You understand and agree that simply because you choose to meet with a single that we have referred to you does not mean that such single will agree to meet with youIt is impossible for us to guarantee that any single to whom you have been referred will agree to meet with youYou understand that you will not like everyone you meet and that some of those you meet may not like you." ***As you can see, we try to give our clients realistic expectations in regards to their programOur only goal is to help our clients find successful relationships, but it’s important for them to be patient, optimistic and flexibleWe have had many couples connect that were outside of one another’s preferencesWe all have an idea of our perfect match, but there are usually some things that are not to our exact likingAlso, when people fall in love, sometimes certain preferences do not even matter anymore Yes, Ms [redacted] ’s Relationship Specialist told her about gentlemen in our program who fit what she was looking forHowever, people’s availability can change on a daily basis, especially if someone is a great catchThe gentlemen which were mentioned are no longer available to meet Ms [redacted] However, this is not to say that other great gentlemen won’t come along or that the men we matched Ms [redacted] with thus far aren’t greatMs [redacted] has been matched with some very nice, successful gentlemenIf she did not have a “connection” with them, that is okayWe continue the search and hope for the best with each and every match Also, Ms [redacted] signed a client obligation form which states that she is required to meet all of her purchased matches so that she may give Virginia Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the programShe also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly with our staffThis includes contacting the Revdex.com As we mentioned, we reached out to Ms [redacted] immediately upon receiving this complaintWe tried to discuss her program, preferences, etc., but she did not appear to be willing to discuss any furtherShe would like to see what happens with this case, but we are making every effort to resolve this matter directly with Ms [redacted] As you can see, we have provided everything promised to Ms [redacted] We’re sorry that she is unhappy with the services thus farWe believe that we have been working very hard for her, have introduced her to some great gentlemen and we’d only like to continue working with her to try and help her find someone specialMs [redacted] needs to allow the program some time to work for herWe know there is someone out there for Ms [redacted] and we To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Ms [redacted] complaint and will address her situation below.Ms [redacted] joined our services on 1/11/She had an extensive interview in our office with a Relationship SpecialistThey discussed Ms [redacted] past relationships, what she is looking for in a partner, etcWe presented her with various package options for our different programsMs [redacted] decided to purchase a program which consists of referrals/matchesFor this fee, she not only receives matches, but also receives services such as the creation of her profile, national background check, uploading of photos, uploading of paperwork from interview, communication (e-mails, phone calls), maintenance of her account, recruiting men on her behalf, conducting searches for matches on her behalf by our matchmakers, etc There are various staff members who work on Ms [redacted] behalf on a daily basis There is much work and time that goes into each individual client's programMs [redacted] was a client for less than a month when she first disputed her credit card charge She claimed that she felt our services are “not as described” or “defective” We responded to the case and showed that our services have been provided as they were described and the case was closed in our favor.Ms [redacted] agreed to continue her program and we found a first match on 3/As Ms [redacted] mentioned, they spoke and the gentleman did not follow through with calling her backTherefore, we “comped” or “bonused back” this match for Ms***This means she will receive an additional match at no additional charge to her Please note that this man has some college, but he is self-employed and very successfulMost importantly, Ms [redacted] and this man showed to be very compatible with one another, according to the compatibility indicators in their profiles Compatibility is what makes a relationship last.The second man we matched Ms [redacted] with also showed to be very compatible with herYes, we explain to our clients that we expect them to do “dutch” on their datesNo one is responsible for picking up the entire bill and everyone should be prepared to pay for what they orderHowever, some people may choose to pay the bill – but some may notIt is important for everyone to remember that no one is obligated.The third man we matched Ms [redacted] with is college educated, a Chief Engineer and is very successfulHe may like to fish and do outdoor activities, but this does not mean he was not shown to be compatible with Ms***They share other common interests, according to their profiles.In addition to signing a non-refundable agreement, Ms [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states that she understands the ONLY way she can be successful with her program is to fulfill ALL obligations and expectations listed on the formAlso, per this signed form, Ms [redacted] agreed that she is required to meet all of her purchased matches, so that she may give Virginia Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the programShe also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly with our staffThis includes contacting her credit card company and the Better Business BureauWe would like for Ms [redacted] to understand that by her contacting the Revdex.com, this does not mean that she will receive a refundWe ask for her to please review the terms of her signed agreement.Our records show that we have communicated with Ms [redacted] throughout the course of her program thus farWe have spoken with her whenever she has contacted us and/or we have returned her callsOur clients must understand that we tend to the needs of MANY clients on a daily basis and it may take 24-hours for us to return a call.As you can see above, we have provided Ms [redacted] with our services promised thus farWe provide our clients with various documents upon joining our services which explain everything they can expect during their program, while trying to keep their expectations realisticWe would like to continue working with Ms***We sincerely want her to be successful in our program

your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did reach out to Virginia Singles on the morning of 7/with the following message: To the Client Service Managers of Virginia Singles- It is with deep dissatisfaction that I am emailing todayI came to Virginia Singles on May 12, (weeks ago) for information regarding the programs that your company offers and was promised, on many occasions, that I was the “ideal client” and I was “what every one of our gentlemen are looking for in a potential partner”I was also told things like “ we have hundreds of men that meet all of your requirements” and “you will be matched very quickly”I feel that I was deceived by the lady (***) that I worked with in that she was telling me everything that I wanted to hear when she realized I was really not that interested in moving forward with the programShe kept telling me repeatedly that “I would regret it if I didn’t go with the program because they (Virginia Singles) had the most vast network of gentlemen in the area”I was skeptical and she promised me repeatedly that I was “guaranteed to find the one with Virginia Singles”I reluctantly filled out the paperwork after being fed all of the “promises” that I would be introduced to my prince-charming within a few short days or “maybe a week or two since the Memorial Day Holiday was approaching” Since that day I have only received three phone calls regarding matches -The first (two weeks into the program) being about a man that did not fit the religious or ethnic background that I had expressed were very important, and he was in the top end of my age rangeI again expressed my desire to be matched to a “Tall, Dark, and Handsome” individual that was closer to my age range, was a [redacted] , and was Caucasian (as I expressed both in my paperwork as well as my profile).-The second call (about a week after the first) was about a man that was much older than I was and was a strict veganI felt slighted by this conversation since it seemed that the lady I was speaking to hadn’t read the profile notes before calling meI am not a vegan, and do not wish to be as strict as this individual was about his life choices.-The third and final phone call I received was two weeks ago about an individual who again, was at the top end of my age range and did not meet the job requirements I needed to ensure that I was able to spend time with my children, and was religious but not [redacted] I again expressed my concerns as well as the concern that his children were older and the response I received from VS was that he was “unavailable” (via email) I have had no communication from VS since the 17th of June, nearly three weeks agoAt this point I wish to dissolve my contract with Virginia Singles and be refunded my program fee of $5,I have been very patient with this process and feel like I was tricked into becoming a part of company that has not delivered on their end of the contractIf there has been this much difficulty in finding a close first-match, I have very little faith that there will be subsequent matches that will be more fittingI would like a response to this email within hours and will be 4:20pmWhen the phone was answered, I was asked who I was and who I needed to speak to and I am almost certain that the person I needed to speak to answered my call and took a message telling me that I would receive a return call that eveningI did not receive a call, againThis morning, 7/10, I again emailed Virginia Singles through my client portal letting them know I had attempted to call them twice and to please call me between the hours of and 6pm today and have yet to receive a call backI did as the contract indicated and reached out to Virginia Singles before going to another entity to assist in resolving the problemI have received no return correspondence and am insulted that Samantha answered the phone yesterday afternoon and told me that no one was available to speak with me at the timeI am still seeking a resolution to this issue and believe that a refund is warranted as I have followed the outline of my contract with Virginia Singles and they haven't found the time to respond, or to have a Client Supervisor contact meI appreciate that finding the right person can take time, but as a paying customer, I expect to get what I'm looking for not have to "think outside the box" for something that I know will not mesh with my life-style or beliefsSo, yes, I declined the three individuals because I was promised matches in all facets of compatibility not a "just try it and maybe it will work out" whimI am legally separated as I've tried that route once...I came to Virginia Singles because they promised me that there would be a return on that investmentNow they won't even contact me backI have included screen shots of the time stamps of the incoming and outgoing call times to VS with the date and duration of the callsI have also included a screen shot of the email a “rejection” to our response.As you can see, everything has been right on schedule for
Ms***It is important for her to remain patient and optimistic with
the program, as she agreed to in her client obligation formShe also agrees to
meet all of her purchased matches in order to give us the opportunity to meet

I really would like to receive a partial refund The response they sent to you fails to state the 3rd gentlemen made a date with, cancelled hrs before due to rain He called one week later to state he may be in Richmond that Sunday so I did not make plans I never heard from him for days He stated he was helping some ladies remove a tree He could have had the been thoughtful enough to let me know that so I did not wait aroundI thought about this for the past two days, if the company has not been able to provide matches since January, what is going to make a difference now I am not asking for the whole amount
