Complaint 1: Will not preschedule blood work lab test prior to appointment This results in a second appointment as they refuse to provide the test results without meeting the doctor Scheduling the lab work would result in efficiency, reduced appointments, and reduced cost In my opinion they only care about money and not the patientComplaint 2: When trying to reschedule a simple office appointment they only cared that my insurance could not be validated I have been with this office for two years and have timely paid over $40,000; however, for a simple request to reschedule the appoint the would not do so until this had been resolved It should be noted that the policy number with the insurance company had merely been changed by my company on Jan They refused to reschedule a simple appointment until this was resolved All other doctors I go to get the insurance information at the office prior to seeing the doctor Again, they apparently only care about the money and not the patient

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is acceptable since this was never their fault to begin with. As my original complaint stated, this was never an issue with the doctors, but instead with what is now known to be their 3rd party billing vendor. I am considering this complaint resolved.

[redacted] is great. I cannot say that about the office staff. Thay are not helpful and office management does not return calls.

We appreciate having the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted] concern and disappointed it has resulted to this.  We understand and appreciate the patient’s frustration over the charge he incurred given he sought to resolve this with a reasonable request for adjustment. In researching this...

complaint, it was discovered that Virginia Urology’s third-party billing company did speak to Mr. [redacted] on January 18th, 2017.  In the call details on his account, it reflected the same concerns that Mr. [redacted] provided on why the adjustment should be made as indicated in the complaint to the Revdex.com.  The adjustment was made to the account on January 24th as a result from the initial call placed by Mr. [redacted].  However, there was an update error that did not reflect the adjustment between the third-party and Virginia Urology’s account reconciliation.  Therefore, Mr. [redacted] received another statement that was sent out on March 9th.   Mr. [redacted] had no direct contact with Virginia Urology regarding this issue following his call on January 18th.  We are deeply sorry that this has occurred as we do strive to work with our patients when we are made aware of any issues or concerns.  We understand that in healthcare there are often extenuating circumstances that must be considered.  At Virginia Urology, we strive to provide superior quality care and excellent customer service.  While we may not always perfectly achieve that we do try to make it right with our patients.  We have ensured that this adjustment has been made to his account and that Mr. [redacted] does not have an outstanding balance.  We apologize for the inconvenience and undue stress that this simple accounting error has caused as it should have been easily resolved.  We have worked with the third-party billing company to ensure that the reports are updated to reflect such adjustments as it relates to patients receiving statements so this does not happen again in the future.   Again, we appreciate having the opportunity to respond to this complaint and hope that should Mr. [redacted] require future urological services, that we would be able to assist him in rendering those services.  We wish him well.

Wonderful care here. Kind staff, was seen in a timely manner. Reasonably easy to get in touch with. Sent medical records through a quick, easy, and affordable process. Highly recommend.
