Visions By Janessa Photography

Janessa is an amazing photographer, business woman and sales person. Her work is beautiful. I have been using her for 7 years for my family photos. I used her for my wedding, my maternity photos, my newborn photos and family photos. I have also recommended her to many of my friends. The last shoot I had with her was about a month ago and we always receive our orders in a timely manner with full satisfaction. We highly recommend her to our friends and family.

today was my first professional picture session I've had. and it was the best experience I've had.

a little back story: I was pregnant with my second daughter when it was discovered my baby had major heart defects that required multiple surgeries for survival. she was born 5 weeks early and was quickly transferred to San Francisco for open heart surgery. at 12 days old my beautiful baby girl went in for her first surgery and sadly my precious little baby's heart just couldn't take the surgery and she passed away that day. as a mom it was the hardest and saddest day of my life. saying goodbye too soon broke my heart.

janessa contacted me for a photo session to honor my beautiful baby and my heart has never been happier.

I woke up this morning deeply missing my baby girl, I fought off tears all morning, wondering how I was going to hold myself together for cristas memorial photos. Sara came to do my hair and makeup. and again my first experience with such beauty treatment. I sat there, as Sara did magic with my hair, and my mind replayed the birth of my baby, the 12 days I spent with her, and her all too soon death. I was lost in thought thinking "my baby should be here for this" again more moments of fighting the tears. Sara and janessa are amazing with kids! my 4 yr old just adored them, as Sara did my makeup my big girl played with janessa and she gave rayven her full attention.

once we finished and found a beautiful spot for pictures the wind picked up. I had my daughters teddy bear that carried her ashes and a strong sense of peace quickly filled me. janessa said "think of your daughter," my mind drifted off and the memory of the first time she opened her eyes came to me, in my mind I saw her watching me, for the first time. janessa, with such talent, caught so much emotion with her camera: heartache, happiness, confusion, love all showed in a single image, that's true talent.

for the first time both my daughters were brought together, watching janessa interact with my 4 yr old brought a smile to my face,hearing innocent questions come from her and janessa answered her heartbreaking questions with such love for a child, janessa never missed a beat, even after being asked "why is my baby sister in the sky, I don't want her to be in the sky," by a 4 yr old, and with her camera she was able to capture the thoughtful mind of a child missing her sister, the wind quickly picked up, which janessa used to her creative advantage, standing there, with my baby's teddy bear in hand, I was filled with peace, for the first time since my baby's death, I felt her with me and for once I was able to smile without pain hidden behind it,

the pictures janessa captured leaves with speechless, there so much emotion and love shining through each image I received, my grieving process has been completely altered and my heart fills whole by a beautiful gift I was given by someone who was once a stranger, who out of the complete goodness in her heart helped a grieving mom feel her daughter within her, there's not enough words to even begin to say how thankful I am to have amazing pictures to honor my daughters, I am 100% blessed to have met janessa, and I am forever thankful for her gift of love.

My first experience with her has been amazeballs!!!! it was a sexy boudoir shoot, something I've never felt comfortable enough in my own skin to do!!! She made me feel super comfortable and relaxed. And when I finally saw the finished product I was totally floored at how great I looked. The photos made an awesome Valentine's gift. I'm sad she 's not local and my car can't take me to her right now but I will definitely be using her again for myself and my kids!!! If you want quality photos, I highly recommend her!!!!
