Vitaliys Automobile Sales, Inc Reviews (6)

I had an extremely positive experience when buying my car here. Greg was amazing and really helpful. I would highly recommend my friends and family to buy their cars from him. I have had my Subaru for a couple of months now and have had no problems.

I highly recommend Vitaliys Automobile Sales, I bought a Audi A6 which drive like a dream, and they save me a bunch of money. They worked me with to purchase the Audi, and they even let me drive the car all the way to Fitchburg to get the car appraised. It was a very pleasant experience buying form Vitaliys, I would defiantly do business with them again.

I went to buy this 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SE and the salesman told me that this car had been in a minor accident with minimal damage done to the front passengers side. He showed me what they had fixed and said that that was all that had been damaged in the accident. When I went to bring it in for a sticker I had a hard time actually getting a sticker. I had to bring it back to the salesman so they could fix the windshield wipers and headlights. Now five months down the road I take the car to VW to get an oil change and see why my emission light was on and they discovered the following: The air injection pump was not hooked up and burnt out, belly pan was missing 8 screws, subframe and all associated bolt/hardware was missing, exhaust hangar/bracket to subframe were broke, bell-housing very badly cracked, subframe is completely bent(wearing the tires), secondary air line not connected to the engine, paint it the wrong color and the windshield wipers still aren't fixed properly. After reading the auto facts I have found out that the car had bad frontal damage and had been dropped by the insurance company, which the dealer had neglected to tell me. Along with selling me this badly damaged car, the sales paper say that it's a used car when I found out that the auto fax says it's a salvaged vehicle. My complaint is that this car is not safe due to missing/cracked parts and I was lied to at the sale of the car regarding all of this.Desired SettlementI would like a refund of what I paid for the car because this vehicle is not safe. And the salesman should have disclosed the auto fax information to me at the time of the purchase. I feel belittled and cheated. All I want is my money back and I'll walk away. Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXXContact Email: [redacted]@aol.com3 weeks ago we received a call from a gentlemen representing [redacted] who explained he had an issue with the vehicle. The [redacted] asked them to bring in the vehicle for inspection even though it was well past the warranty period so he can see if there were legitimate issues that should have been covered or not. The customer never called again or brought the vehicle in for repairs. We received a call from the Revdex.com yesterday, May 1, 2014 that there was even an issue since we never heard from the customer or the Revdex.com before this. The [redacted] immediately called the customer [redacted] and repeated his offer, that she bring in the vehicle for us to inspect. We cannot know what issues actually exist if we do not inspect the vehicle for these issues. The customer said she would speak to her boyfriend about whether she would or not. They were concerned with whether they had a court case than actually having us look at the vehicle. This vehicle was purchase 6 months ago and was out of warranty 3-4 months ago. We cannot take the word of another repair shop as we do our own repairs here and have specialists on staff for this exact problem. This is the second offer to the customer to have us look at it and the 2nd time they did not schedule a time. We will not give them money back for a vehicle. If there are legitimate issues that should have been done before purchase we will look at it and would take care of it. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Yes, I did have my boyfriend call because I was extremely upset. And the gentleman on the phone was very rude to him. Saying that how did he know it was a car he sold and my boyfriend never said that he'd bring the car down. On May 1, [redacted] contacted me. He has offered me a chance for him to look at the car but I don't want to be taken advantage of again and I want someone else to come with me. We both work so it's had to find a day we are both available. Also, I would not have known about these problems until the car got jacked up because all the problems are under the car. Volkswagen found all these issues when I took my car for an oil change. They gave me a list of what needed to be fixed to make the car safe. It made me upset knowing that this car got sold to me being unsafe. It makes me wonder whether the cop did a thorough inspection or even did one at all. [redacted] even told me himself that they rushed with the car and that they shouldn't have put the car on the lot as soon as they did. I feel as if I got ripped off because the [redacted] admitted to rushing things. That does not put me at ease. And it also explains why this car I purchased has so many issues.I shouldn't have to pay to fix all these issues when they should have been fixed before I bought the car. Final Business Response It seems that we are trying to help this customer but they will not not allow us to inspect the vehicle for these issues. We have offered several times to bring the vehicle in and we will check every issue mentioned. Even though the warranty expires several months ago we will absolutely correct an issue that should have been fixed prior to purchasing the vehicle, however, this car was inspected by the Department of Transportation AND received a Mass state inspection and there were no problems at that time. Now 5-6 months later there are supposedly many serious problems the customer is not happy with, yet they will not bring the vehicle in for review after several offers to correct the problem. It is our goal to provide vehicles that are in excellent shape when sold and to honor our warranties when any issues do arise. Even though this complaint was received many months after the warranty expired we will still look at the vehicle free of charge to see what is actually wrong with the car. We cannot keep responding to the same complaint when the complaining party will not work with us to address the problem. We are available anytime to set a time to come in and have the vehicle checked out. 2 professional inspections were done prior to and then after purchasing the vehicle no issues were present so we really need to see what issues are present now that both inspections did not find. We want a happy customer and a good reputation and we get that by taking care of all legitimate problems right away, but need the customer to work with us so we can all achieve our goals. We again offer [redacted] to set a time for our mechanic to inspect the vehicle or we cannot help you otherwise. Thank you.
