Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: ***:Until this message, we have not heard from you for nearly monthsWhile we are sorry for your loss, it is hard to believe that you have been at a funeral for the past months and/or that you could not have sent a worker to continue the projectWhen we hired you, you ensured us that you have workers and that you do not take on more projects than you can handleClearly this is not trueAt this point you have been in and out of our house for nearly years and you have yet to complete your contractual responsibilities, despite having received more than $150K from usNow, you casually state that you intend to come to our house in another week, nearly weeks since you last showed up for work.Despite these unacceptable delays, you still have not provided the materials that we have asked for over the past several monthsOn numerous occasions, you have vowed to provide us with a work plan, warranties and other materials, but have continually failed to deliver. It is chaotic and disruptive to have you drop in from time-to-time and do a small part of the work you owe usFor example, the last time you were here in early December, you destroyed the hallway paint job and left construction dust that you failed to clean up and that covered our furniture, floor and personal itemsDespite this mess, the bookcase that you were working on was ALSO left unfinishedAt this point, you must provide us with a plan of action, including the timeline for finishing, prior to returning to our homeYou have committed to delivering these materials many, many timesWe cannot allow you to continue to disrupt our household whenever you choose without an end time in sightAs we have said many times, we would like to resolve this situation amicablyThat said, it is becoming clear that you do not intend to honor your contract or your word and as a result, if necessary, we will pursue all options to make ourselves whole on this situation Also, we prefer to communicate via emailPlease copy [redacted] ( [redacted] ), [redacted] ( [redacted] ) and the [redacted] email address ( [redacted] ) on future emailsUsing this system is difficult and we never committed to communicate solely through this medium[redacted] & [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Following our meeting with Vivaldi Home Improvement, the issues that we raised in our original complaint have not been resolved whatsoeverVivaldi continues to refuse to address several inadequacies and projects that he has been contracted and paid to completeWhile we wish to resolve the issues - the only way to do so is if Vivaldi repairs and addresses all items on the original punch listIf we cannot resolve this fairly between us (the homeowners) and Vivaldi, we will be forced to pursue litigation.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted]:Until this message, we have not heard from you for nearly 2 months. While we are sorry for your loss, it is hard to believe that you have been at a funeral for the past 2 months and/or that you could not have sent a worker to continue the project. When we hired you, you ensured us that you have workers and that you do not take on more projects than you can handle. Clearly this is not true. At this point you have been in and out of our house for nearly 2 years and you have yet to complete your contractual responsibilities, despite having received more than $150K from us. Now, you casually state that you intend to come to our house in another week, nearly 9 weeks since you last showed up for work.Despite these unacceptable delays, you still have not provided the materials that we have asked for over the past several months. On numerous occasions, you have vowed to provide us with a work plan, warranties and other materials, but have continually failed to deliver. It is chaotic and disruptive to have you drop in from time-to-time and do a small part of the work you owe us. For example, the last time you were here in early December, you destroyed the hallway paint job and left construction dust that you failed to clean up and that covered our furniture, floor and personal items. Despite this mess, the bookcase that you were working on was ALSO left unfinished. At this point, you must provide us with a plan of action, including the timeline for finishing, prior to returning to our home. You have committed to delivering these materials many, many times. We cannot allow you to continue to disrupt our household whenever you choose without an end time in sight. As we have said many times, we would like to resolve this situation amicably. That said, it is becoming clear that you do not intend to honor your contract or your word and as a result, if necessary, we will pursue all options to make ourselves whole on this situation.
Also, we prefer to communicate via email. Please copy [redacted]), [redacted]) and the [redacted] email address ([redacted]) on future emails. Using this system is difficult and we never committed to communicate solely through this medium.[redacted] & [redacted]

Review: Vivaldi Home Improvement/[redacted] failed to satisfy our agreement for construction and remodeling services on several levels. He has charged us more than 3-times the cost that he provided in his proposal for the job and he has been unprofessional and unreliable. He has also failed to provide us with warranties, product names and return extra materials to us.

We hired [redacted] and his company to update a bathroom and a kitchen and provide us with custom cabinetry. He has not completed the work as outlined in our contract and amendments and the work he has completed has been sub-par. In addition, he has not completed any of the projects on a timely basis - he promised the work would be done within 4 months and the work is still not complete 15 months later. He has also over-charged us for work to be done and insisted on amendments and work that did not need to be done; as novices to home construction, we trusted his guidance, which turned out to be unreliable and corrupt. He also promised us the use of a designer for the construction projects and then failed to deliver a professional to work with us, which has created a number of issues from a design perspective. Because of his poor design skills, there are projects that need to be redone. He also promised to create custom cabinetry (bookcases, vanity) but instead delivered items that did not fit the space and/or were lower quality than promised and he has refused to re do these cabinets. He has also damaged items in our home and has refused to fix them. We will need to hire a new contractor to finish the projects he has refused to complete and/or redo the projects that he has done in an unprofessional/sub-par manner.

We have complained several times and he has refused to reply to us and has not shown up to work for more than 2 months as of this writing. There are numerous projects left undone and/or unfinished.Desired Settlement: At the very least, [redacted]/Vivaldi Home Improvement should finish the job within 2 weeks - it is now 9 months overdue. This must include bringing the work, materials and craftsmanship up to the quality level that was promised.
