Wonderful! I took my dad home from nursing home in April. I have had van in my home off and on since. Started with vna nursing and have since moved to hospice. The nurses, speech therapist, occupational therapist were all wonderful. My dad is currently in hospice and once again I am simply amazed at the care and support that I have received from them. Very difficult time but I feel as though all the employees try to make it as easy and supportive as they can. The other thing I am impressed with is no matter who answers the phone they are extremely nice.

They made an agreement saying that the home physical therapy service is covered by insurance, then we were billed an overpriced amount.In April 2014 my spouse [redacted] called VNA Care Network to inquire about physical therapy at home for her father [redacted]. Mr [redacted], 85 years old, in very poor health was in our home bedridden after hospitalization. VNA Care Network sent a nurse to perform the evaluation. The visiting nurse saw our house and took Mr [redacted]'s insurance information, his MassHealth number. We made very clear to the visiting nurse that we accept the services only if they are covered by Mr [redacted]'s insurance. The nurse said that the physical therapy services are covered and she checked the box "Home Health Services are covered 100%" on the 2nd page of the agreement that we signed. She did not mention anything about the service price. Mr [redacted] received three sessions, every time the therapist spent about 30 min with him. A week or two after the last session we received a statement in the name of [redacted] for $200 per session, a total of $600. I called VNA Care Network and they told us that there was an error and in fact the services are not covered. I answered that we are not responsible for the these fees as we accepted the service only because the VNA Care Network representative misled us. Furthermore the charge of $200 for each half hour visit is way above the fair and normal rates. I offered to pay $90 as a good faith gesture. They turned down my offer. Presently VNA Care Network sent the last statement before referring Mr [redacted] to a collection agency. The account number is XXXXXX, last statement date: 08/31/14.Desired SettlementWe ask VNA Care Network to drop the $600 charges as they were the result of misleading selling practices.Business Response I am replying to the complaint that the Revdex.com received from Mr. [redacted], Case #XXXXXX on behalf of Mary Ann [redacted] President & CEO of the VNA Care Network, Inc.An error was made in the Patient's paperwork.
