Voices.com Reviews (72)

I've always wanted to do voice work even as a kid. It wasn't until I lost my job that made me try it. I didn't have an excuse that I was too busy. Voices.com was a wonderful way to start. I appreciate the way it works. I can't see myself starting voice work any other way.

Voice actors should understand that Voices.com may "manage" jobs and reduce pay to the voice actor significantly. [redacted].

In managing job Voices acts like a casting agency, even though they say otherwise. Also, in addition to paying an annual membership fee, funds paid to you go into an escrow and a fee is subtracted there, too. Beware. These fees are not always clear.

As a voice talent with Voices.com I had the pleasure of receiving an e-mail from one of the employees. I had submitted a custom audition but was remiss in putting the correct dollar amount for the fee I would charge. He questioned whether I wanted to submit the erroneous figure. For some reason I had put in the word count instead of the fee, which was thousands of dollars different. Thanks to him I was able to re-format my bid and re-submit my audition. I've never had any problems with the staff at Voices.com and rate them very highly in that department.

I really like Voices.com because they have a lot of opportunities on there and everyone I've worked with on there is really nice. If you are a voice talent, I recommend getting on there TODAY! I've been discovered for really cool educational projects that call for teen voices as well as some really cool projects that call for accent work! Love it! Thanks Voices!! Always a pleasure. :-)

I have researched & connected with numerous voiceover websites & companies, and there is none that compares to Voices.com. They're the best, simple as that. The professionalism, the high quality of Clients & Voices personnel - the outstanding support staff & the incredibly prompt payment system are just a few of the reasons that I've made Voices.com my go-to place to connect with prospective Clients for voiceover work. If you're serious about creating a Voiceover Career for yourself, Voices.com is one-stop shopping, and well worth the small fee. In my case, my yearly fee paid for itself in about two weeks. Try finding that with some other site. FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS!! [redacted]

As a voice actor, you need to have more than one tool in your VO toolbox and voices.com is my go-to, reliable....well oiled voiceover business tool.
The account managers are responsive and very knowledgable about their craft.
My every attempt to reach out with questions is answered quickly and completely, with a real passion for seeing me...AS AN INDIVIDUAL, succeed in the business.
[redacted] and [redacted] have been my go-to helpers, and they have never left me hanging. Whether for help on my profile development, or for just being a sounding board for my ideas on how to improve.
Thanks [redacted] and [redacted]

I can testify that Voices.com delivers on what they say they will do and does so with respect for the people they serve.

Since so many people are doing voice work, because they know how fun and rewarding it is, one may go through a hundred auditions and get discouraged, until that one job comes when you least expect it. Man that feels sweet! Never give up......one must keep on keeping on!

Voices.com provides excellent customer service and a wide variety of opportunities for voice-over auditions.

Voices.com is a credible and proven way for new voice actors to break into the business as well as an effective means for experienced voice actors to continue to bring in new clients.

Voices.com is my go-to casting site for excellent auditions. I've been with Voices.com since 2010 and have received and continue to receive amazing jobs. In fact, I recently booked my first national commercial with voices.com. The support staff is wonderful and always quick to help if there's a question or need. I highly recommend Voices.com.

I've been a paying member for 8-10 years with Voices.com and am 100% satisfied with every aspect of our business relationship.

Their immediate attention and resolution of a recent computer glitch was yet another demonstration of their total commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

I am [redacted], Dutch female VO and I just finished a big voice over job for a Medical Company from Norway/Denmark making rescusitation/CPR educational software. It was a lot of administration, apart from the audio and we had good contact through mail and telephone. It all worked out very well and the client was really satisfied.
Also the payment from voices.com was quick.
Thanks voices.com for a great job!

The response time from a customer service rep was unbelievable. Their help was straight to the point and in fact helped me a lot. They personal sent me a email notification when I didn't realize I had one. The fact it was a human response is even better

A very pleasant experience indeed. The people in charge have been very courteous and very available to answer all my questions during the process. I hope to deal with you again in the near future.

To whomever it may concern,
I have recently competed a recording cycle with Voices.com, from audition to project approval. I was helped, immensely by [redacted] whose invaluable support made it all flow seamlessly.

It is a real pity that Voices.com has such a restrictive account system, a true pity, for it leaves many talents out, or at least me. The idea of paying $ [redacted].- before you start is quite daunting. Other websites bit quite a chunk out of your earnings, 20%, but they do it once you have secured the job, not before.

This seems to me a negative partnership. First share your losses and then you can keep your profits, if any. With the system used elsewhere it is as if they were collecting their commission of $ [redacted].- in sales that have still to take place.
The marketing doyens at Voices.com will surely disagree with me, but offering the service at $ [redacted] is quite insulting, for, unless you are an absolute simpleton, you will figure out how much you really must dish out. Voices should, from my point of view, rise above supermarket pricing that beguiles the unsuspecting. The [redacted] per month ([redacted] per year) is even worse so but I'm sure the marketing department must be delighted by the idea of not saying they are charging ** per month (which they are).

It seems to me there are two companies: one run by very kind, gentle, supportive, professionals, and then you have the others: greedy money-grubbers and marketing [redacted]. I used to have a yearly subscription but it was due to the attitude of the latter posse I opted out.

At the time I wrote time and again but, of course, I am not the one running the show. I am not a businessman, I'm a voice-artist and mine was drowned out by the posse who laughed all the way to the bank.

Thus my recent experience with [redacted] is bittersweet as I'd love to keep on working with him and his great group of colleagues but it comes at a very hefty price imposed by the dwellers of the dark side of the moon.

This review of the company and its policies was submitted upon a request I received from the Customer Service Department, erstwhile I would have kept my thoughts to myself, but there you are.

This could be a much longer note by a man who has taught Business Studies and Economics at [redacted] level but I prefer to keep it short.

Yours sincerely,

[redacted]

Voices.com has been the only platform that provides MASSIVE VALUE everyday. [redacted] However, Voices.com has always had FAST customer service, EASY auditions, FUN opportunities with major companies, and was totally the BEST way for me to take steps into the VO industry without having an agent!

I started doing voiceovers for the first time [redacted] in November 2015. I didn't know anything about the VO world! So I did my research everyday, I found podcasts, webinars, books, interviews- anything I could find on VO. I practiced, practiced, practiced... and when I finally found Voices.com... that's when the magic happened! I've been booked for major ongoing videogames, mobile apps, cartoons, and television commercials! It has been a blast, and I honestly wouldn't have had all these cool opportunities or connections available to me without finding Voices.com.

Voices.com... YOU ROCK! :)

Great service, very kind and helping. Highly recommended.

Voices.com is a great company that offers many opportunities for voice over jobs. The website is easy to use and the newsletters received are helpful and insightful. I definitely would recommend voices.com as a resource to obtain VO jobs online.

I have been with Voices.Com for over 5 years. I started with minimal experience. Voices.com has been a crucial part of my career. Because of its platform, I have been able to grow my client base, practice my art, support my family and grow my business.

I have seen them improve their business practices and I have watched them grow as well.

All and all is not perfect. Nothing is. However, great people work at this company. Supportive and hard working people.

I appreciate all the opportunities and growth.
