I put my thirty days notice in last week of May stating that on the last day of June I'd be moving out. I walked into their office and turned it in personally. 2nd week of June I move out leave keys in drop box move 2 weeks early attached note with keys with forwarding address. Left apt clean like when moved in . I I have been calling them every other day about my deposit for about two months and they have lied to me every time saying it was mailed yesterday, on Saturday, on Tuesday week after week. Finally I get a check 6/23/16 for half my deposit with note attached saying you didn't give a proper notice but you were a good tenant so the owner is giving you half of your deposit. Vs [redacted] are some filthy grimy liars and thieves who stole my deposit $$272.25 from [redacted] . You owe me [redacted]

I have moved into this home on Aug 22 2013 after house fire at previous residence through VS Rich Properties. There were notable damages through home.In Aug 2014, there was a house fire with at [redacted], at the time I was 9 months pregnant. I was given keys to look at 3 other properties stated on their vacancy list. None met my approval, and upon returning of the keys, it was stated that "*, forgot about this one" & given the key to [redacted]. Being that I was due in next 2 wks, I chose this home particularly for layout & location. When viewing the home I noted to staff, [redacted] that there was no stove, refrigerator, nor dishwasher on the home. But if these were the only options I habe I would choose this one. A lease was then drawn up because it was stated that I was unable to remain in the home which had the fire, & it was unsafe for me to live, & also that it would take several months to reconstruct the home. When moving in the home, reported several issues to VS Rich properties, such as air condition not working, cracks in walls & such which should be noted on my move in sheet. The air condition was fixed within a week, but left in tendered were the cracks in the walls. I was very overwhelmed with pregnancy, new arrival, & starting my daughter at a new school again. I then contacted this property again reporting the electricity bill was extremely high, for my appliances to be looked at (was told by [redacted] that landlords should service appliances yearly to check for any mishaps), at that time I was laughed at by associates on phone as if this were a joke. Still no response in the request for repair in January. My light bills peaked at around 350 per month. In February, I reached out again to the propert management regarding my hot water furnace being checked out & my home not getting warm. Still no repair or looking at appliances. In March, I reported to the facility that my roof had been damaged, & that raccoons were tearing into my roof and attic. It was bandaged, with wood. The raccoons kept tearing it up, & I reported it, I had to resort to [redacted] to look into my house further in which they cited then a few violations on roofing. They then bandaged it up more to cover all holes with wood & cut down some branches as the city asked of them. I then asked if the roof could be repaired with shingles and fixed so that they would not be torn up again. By [redacted], the owner of the home is going through financial difficulties & couldn't replave the roof, in which I responded to her every one is facing financial difficulties & I still continue to pay my rent through extremely difficult times & high electric bills. My roof still not complete. My wall in bathroom began to crack & I reported it once again. Still no repair. Squirrels then began tearing up the roof, once again I reported still no repair. Mold began showing on my furniture, clothing, shoes, dishes, practically everywhere, once again a report to VS Rich, still no repair. I once again reached out to the [redacted] again. They violated them about 7 times, no one shoes to the hearing on Oct 27th @8 am. I called to ask if I could withhold my rent for November, since they were again cited for the roof I asked to be repaired & several other maintenance issues I also reported but recieved no action on. I have yet to hear back from propert management until today asking me to pay my rent so that the repairs could be made. I have been living in this home since Aug 2013, in which all repairs have been noted & my rent has been paid every month on time except 1 time. I have been missing time from work since my return in Nov 2013, consistently taking my children to the doctors for medical reasons. My son was born Sept 2014 & has consistently been sick month after month on this home sleeping in his room. I have medical bills from [redacted] where both my kids go. He has experienced breathing treatments up to 6 times a day & different diagnosis monthly. I have sinced removed both kids from their room where mold was taking over & they have been less sickly. Desired SettlementI am seeking return refund from October 2014 which rent was paid in full & mold was noticed and reported. I am seeking nonpayment for the remainder of the time it takes for them to correct all repair issues cited. I am seeking refunds for every month living in the home with heat, Nov 2013 - Feb 2014, & Oct 2014 in which it was noted at the time of my move in that the air condition unit did not work, & it was supposed to be fixed, & now it is seen that the air duct was reasoning behind heating issues that has just been replaced since last citation from city [redacted]. This company has been putting bandages over repair issues versus fixing them to ensure the safety of my kids & I as well as endangering our health living in this home. I ask that photos that [redacted] has on both citations be brought forth as evidence that there are repair issues needed at this home that I have continually paid rent king full for that is an unsafe living environment for both my kids & myself. We all have breathing issues as well as other sickly issues that we have been dealing with since living in this home.

This company is very unprofessional with very poor customer service skills.I applied with this company for a house on May 3. The representative mentioned that there was another application on it already and when I asked her if there was she went to go check and never came back. I began dealing with a gentleman who I advised I had a dog but the dog had other arrangements so I wasn't going to list it. The gentleman advised he would write negotiable on the application because he wasn't sure that the owner allowed pets. I called for 5 days straight and did not receive an answer. One of the representatives was very rude with me one time and told me not to call because we would call her. But I was advised 72 hours and it had already been 5 days. After a week and a half I received a phone call advising that I could pick up my funds because the owner didn't allow pets. Which is odd because I already addressed with someone else which I advised the representative who then says" okay well I guess we will keep chugging along. At that point I am livid as to why my application has not been processed still! I allowed 3 more business days go by then requested to speak with property manager who advised that she couldn't find my application and took my number. 2 more business days passed and I called and advised I would like to have my funds back because I no longer wanted to apply and he advised me that as long as my funds had not been used I could pick them up. There is no way that my funds have been used and my application has not been processed. This is absurd. very unprofessional. I have even recommended people to them and was told that they were rude to them! These people are dealing with housing. This is people lives at stake and my lease ended 5/31. There is no way that I should still be waiting for you to process my application.Desired SettlementI would like my funds back.
