Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] I left numerous messages with the receptionist, and also spoke with his colleague *** regarding my concerns I also spoke with Mr [redacted] himself, who assured me he would mail the check the next day I have yet to receive a letter or check from him as he claims As to his statement that I disposed of the dehumidifier before he could look at it, I advised *** that I had a junk removal company coming the following week to take some items and that would be one of the things I was disposing of and, if he wanted to see it, he would have to come before that time He showed up days after it was removed (unannounced) However, I did email a photograph of the damaged humidifier next to the new one I purchased to prove that I had to buy a new one I don't know what else to say, since everything is countered with lies by Mr [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

This is in reference to Mr *** ***.I resolved this issue with payment in fullany Questions feel free to callThanks***

First I would like to say we never moved *** * ***. I think *** *** is becoming very confused on the names she has been using and statements she has been expressing to local business people and on media reviews wia hour periodafter the moveVery
unfair. She has claimed stolen property by our personell after saying she was missing her cell phone andwallet way before our men ever got to her home. She had to borrow her neighbors phoneto tell us the closing on her new house was done and we could send the trucksWe arrived at her house only to find it wide open and very unprepared for moving day.My office asked if she was sure that the items didn't disappear the same time the phone and wallet disappearedShe told my officethat they were hooked up and running during the move and on her desk after saying the men opened boxes to find itemsWe still accomplished her move withe estimated cost of $1800.Which was way under the $quoteshe was given by a competitorA $saving. She seemed ecstatic on our service and price. The next day she called our office to say that she was missing speakers for her computer, along with an *** and head phones worth the same price we charged for her move.I asked her if she unpacked all her boxes that most of them were placed in her basementShe said yes she had, I was quite surprised because she had way over boxes placed into basement. This is what she stated to me that my men we're opening her boxes to view what was inside, sheindicated that this was a way to find items to stealThe boxes we're not marked so we had to opento find out which room they went into with her directing where to placed them. Our power drill was to large to fit the bolts that assembled bedsSo we asked to use her drill. One of the men put her tool box on the truck by mistakeThe next morning I took them to thehouse and left them on the back porch because she was not homeAfter calling me to say that thiswas proof that I had thieves in my company. She was never told I wouldn't give her my insurance companyShe was told that the insurancecompany would not cover such a claim. If any thing like this did happen most carriers would take care outof pocket. We know about reputation and serviceThey are essential to any one's businessI feel Ms *** is quite mistaken on her lossDirecting it at afford-a-move.I feel she is looking for a free move.Sincerly, *** ***

I left numerous messages with the receptionist, and also spoke with his colleague [redacted] regarding my concerns.  I also spoke with Mr. [redacted] himself, who assured me he would mail the check the next day.  I have yet to receive a letter or check from him as he claims.  As to his statement that I disposed of the dehumidifier before he could look at it, I advised [redacted] that I had a junk removal company coming the following week to take some items and that would be one of the things I was disposing of and, if he wanted to see it, he would have to come before that time.  He showed up 4 days after it was removed (unannounced).  However, I did email a photograph of the damaged humidifier next to the new one I purchased to prove that I had to buy a new one.  I don't know what else to say, since everything is countered with lies by Mr. [redacted].

Thank you so much for bringing my attention to this complaint, itis Afford-A-Moves practice to address any concerns that our clientsmay have on the spot or within days.[redacted]'s Move was 08/24 and 08/25 of August 2017,she filed her complaint with you 11/5/2017. Standard procedure on any damage...

claimis to have the opportunity to assess the damage so that we can make proper restitution, she did not afford me this opportunity as she disposed of the dehumidifier. It is also not my experience that she called on numerous occasions as I would have responded to her complaint.Attached you will find a letter that was sent to [redacted] along with a check in the amount of $60.00, which amounts to .60 per lb. per article damage liability stated on the Afford-A-Move moving invoice at the bottom with her signature.  I hope that this will resolve the complaint to her and your satisfaction. Please contact me with any questions.Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I was charge $650.00, on 6-*-13, to have 1999 audi (check engine light and abs sensors repaired)When I picked up car check engine and sensor lights was off. When I took car for inspection, Mechanic informed me that repairman hold disconnected device and had not repaired anything, this repair person, works with the the person that had the lights disconnect when I purchased it (AS IS), knowing that I would have to bring it in for repair, the car dealer and repair shop, might be owned,by the same people. So I have a 1999 Audi, I paid 2900.00, for which could not be driven, just took ins off car.I was told by repairman to bring car back to them and they would make it pass inspection, cannot drive car, hose was repaired with duct tape, car is smoking , do not want to take a chance to drive from queens to brooklyn with car smoking, (CAR was suppose to be repaired, as you will, the thecar has not been driven, mileage is the same.Desired Settlement: $650.00, returned or have car towed to them and fix properlywith no more added fees, and issue inspection before it leaves the shop.
